Liberty Tree Tavern - Prime Rib No More

We have always loved the Prime Rib at LTT served family style. We ate there several times last year. On our last trip in November, we went back. To our surprise, there was no prime rib!

When did this happen ?

It's been that way for probably almost a year now. I was planning around this time last year and I don't ever remember Prime Rib. Everything is still delicious though! It was one of my fav places to eat.

Thank you. My family did have the family-style dinner there a few years ago, but the beef on the platter didn't taste like prime rib to us. I also remember dining at CP quite a few years ago, when they actually did have prime rib on their buffet....which they obviously don't now.

As I recall LTT served their platter meal with pot roast originally. Sometime in the fall of 2016 or spring of 2017 (can't remember which) they changed that to prime rib. It only lasted a few short months due to customer dissatisfaction and upheaval regarding the change.
