Which would you recommend to eat early dinner at before the MVMCP starts?

Do any restaurants have special things going on?

Thanks

I've eaten at both before the parties. I prefer CP for the food and atmosphere.

However, many others prefer LTT. Sometimes the characters wear something festive like scarfs and what not.

LTT is family style Thanksgiving type food (Stouffers).

I like both restaurants, but I'd say it depends on your preference: Do you want a buffet meal with Pooh characters or a family-style meal with Minnie & gang? :)

Well we will be eating at both during our holiday anyway, just wondered if one had better atmosphere on a MVMCP day?

Thanks :)

I like CP for breakfast and LTT for dinner! LTT has a much better cozier atmosphere which is nice for relaxing. Also, it's not buffet, so it's a great break from the crowds. The all you can eat turkey platter is delightful!

CP for dinner is not our favourite, but the breakfast there is good!

We love LTT! I love how they call the families including where they're from!

Last year my whole family had dinner at LTT. We had surprised my DH with the family joining us for a week at WDW. He didn't know a thing :cool1: It was fantastic! I had scheduled LTT because it is a sit-down dinner. They gave us a nice big table for the whole family. The food was super good (the only Stouffers item I saw was the Macc & cheese) which my grandchildren naturally LOVED. My family felt it was a perfect way to start the MVMCP.

You can sit and relaxe, the characters were dressed for Christmas. We were able to take our time, no one rushed us. The characters came around numerous times.

I will be going back. :santa:

We ate at LTT last time and it was pretty good. Last year they used the CP for the cookies and hot chocolate during the party, so they might have closed it pretty early to get things ready. Just a consideration!

We ate at the Plaza before the party last December. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food, and we weren't stuffed from a buffet so we could hit the party at top speed. I enjoyed spending 50% less.

LTT for sure, good food, great atmosphere, the characters come around to the tables and pose for pictures; we're making a res for when we go to MVMCP this year.

We are doing LTT before MVMCP on Dec. 2. I chose that one because i just felt that it seemed like a more Christmas feel and food that CP. We'll probably still do CP, but just not on MVMCP night.

I think you'll enjoy LTT and no matter where you go at Disney, it's Disney!!!!! Enjoy MVMCP we'll be going Tues Dec 4

We are doing this for the MNSSHP this year. We never ate there before, but it was the only last minute place we could get ressies for on Easter Sunday (slept through our alarm and missed CP - but thats a whole other story LOL). We ended up loving it! Tried to get LTT for MNSSHP, but couldn't get in, so the Plaza it is for us. I wonder if cms will be dressed up?

Really? That's interesting regarding CP, I wonder if when I try to make an ASR that the CM will know that and the seating times will be limited?

Thanks

So that will be 7pm on a party night then I presume? That's really helpful, thanks. :) Think I will go for that as we already have an ADR for LTT earlier on during the holiday.

Could be or they could take the last ADR around 6:30p, I'm not 100% sure when the last seating is but they are open till park closing.

I always make my ADR around 5:30p.

The CM over the phone will know the last seating for the day when you call though so they could tell you.

In the past, I've never seen cookies and hot choc distributed at CP but I did MNSSHP last year so it could have changed last year. At the parties I've been to, hot choc and cookies were distributed right across the way at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station and other various land locations; listed below.

HERE's the map for MVMCP with the locations.

Treats are being served throughout the evening -- Treats include Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows and cookies and sliced apples and Apple Juice at:

-- Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland
-- Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station at Tomorrowland
-- Scuttle's Landing in Fantasyland
-- Columbia Harbour House -- Liberty Square
