Liberty Tree Tavern or Chef Mickey's character dining?

All dining will tell me about the characters at Liberty Tree Tavern is "Minnie and friends", can anyone give me a more definite answer or what other characters usually show up here? I know that Chef Mickey's is always the same Fab 5. My favorites are Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Donald Minnie. Do five characters show up for dinning at Liberty Tree Tavern as well?

Is the food better at one or the other or about the same?

We will be going to MK already that night for PPP. 4:55 PM was the latest time they had left for 2 adults. Chef Mickey's is also an off time. 9 PM which would mean we'd have to get up and go from AKL our second night of a three night stay.(We are FL residents)

Which would have the best character interaction?

Never done character dinning and I'm afraid I'm a goofy 23 year old who loves the characters.

LTT features the following characters: Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale
We always go to LTT for dinner when we travel to WDW. The food is pretty good & the character interaction is pretty good. We've never had any complaints about dining there. We've only eaten breakfast for Chef Mickey's, so I can't really compare the two of them. However, our experience at Chef Mickey's was excellent: food very good & character interaction very good.

I've been to both of these restaurants. Chef Mickey's is a buffet stlye and Liberty Tree is a sit-down 'home style meal', but they will come to you and always keep refilling/replacing the dishes of food. The food at Liberty Tree consists of roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing, and Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese. There is also salad and dessert.
I think the character interaction at Liberty Tree was better. Based on my last visit to that restaurant in Dec.'06, the characters there consisted of Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. It was a fun time.

Mickey and Minnie is at Liberty Tree Tavern as well, the character interaction was the best I have seen. We had so much fun and either Chip or Dale kept going by me and flipping my pony tail and kept play flirting, we all laughed and he gave my husband a hand shake (like not trying to get your girl). We had a blast we are planning a ADR there on the first day.

My family loves CM for the breakfast buffet. The food is always delicious and the character interaction is wonderful. I would love to try LTT though this trip.

CM has Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald.


I love LTT dinner. It is sooooo good, and I have to do it at least once every trip.
