Liberty Tree Tavern - No More Lunch?

Hi,
I just made a lunch reservation at the Liberty Tree for the last part of Oct.

I haven't read all the reply posts but ---- today I made a lunch ADR at Liberty Tree for October 19.

I have a lunch reservation there for October 14.
I love the lunch there!!!! It is much better than the character dinner, IMO.

I'm so glad to hear y'all saying you're getting lunch ressies in Oct!! I'd be really dissappointed, and rather flabbergasted, if they stopped serving lunch at LTT. It's always crowded, and we've never had a bad experience there.

Also, to agree with some PPs, turning it into a character lunch would be SOO BAD!! I mean, yeah, we like to do the *occasional* character meal, but we get soooo sick of place after place getting turned into character meals!

No they are still serving lunch at LTT just no characters. I just made one for September & have one for May. So yes you can make lunch ADR for LTT. Call back maybe you got a new CM. I asked mine if it was true & he said if so why did I just make one for you? BUT THEY STILL HAVE LUNCH

When I made my lunch ADR for LTT the CM said "you know they don't have characters at lunch, right?" Maybe that is what the CM meant to say.

WHAT? I really enjoy going to the LTT and ONLY for lunch. Character dinners are NOT my in my interests. Well I have a late Sept. lunch ADR so I better enjoy it while I can.

No they are still serving lunch at LTT just no characters. I just made one for September & have one for May. So yes you can make lunch ADR for LTT. Call back maybe you got a new CM. I asked mine if it was true & he said if so why did I just make one for you? BUT THEY STILL HAVE LUNCH

They could just as easily be closing down lunch at the beginning of October. They have to stop taking ADRs somewhere.

This is the OP. I just called back and was able to make a lunch reservation in Oct with a different CM.

I am very glad to have this board because otherwise I never would have known to call back again. Why are all the CM's so misinformed? On another note of misinformation, while making my Liberty Tree Tavern lunch reservation, I also tried to make one for Planet Hollywood dinner. This CM told me that Planet Hollywood does not accept the dining plan. So, because I know it does from reading this board, I was able to call back and talk to a third CM who made my Planet Hollywood reservation and confirmed that they do accept DDP.

Without this board, many many people must be getting wrong information from CMs and missing out on many things.

that would be a real bummer - we love lunch at LTT (crab cakes, turkey dinner - but especially for us: no characters!!) - hope the CM was wrong...

Happy for you I knew it had to be a mistake on the CM part. As I am going in December & that where we want to eat lunch. I asked this as well when I reconfirm my ADR;s lunch is still there no characters. I guess we are all human & make mistakes

Well, I'm glad to hear this. Lunch was our worst meal there.

Dinner is such a different menu and experience.

I bet they'll be changing things around and adding a character family style buffet lunch. The park could use another character meal at lunch time.

Ha ha...ask two different people, get two different answers. We hated dinner!!!
