Because if it is still family style, then we might as well just go for lunch and get what we want! In all my trips to WDW, I've never eaten here, so I figured it could fill my MK dining slot this year. Thanks for any help!
We will be doing dinner there in about a week and a half. It better be the same type of menu that is why we decided to keep the ressie even after we found out there were no more characters!
I'd like to know too. I wasn't a big fan of the dinner (generally we like that type of food IRL, but it wasn't very good at LTT) but we did go because of the characters.
I really like this restaurant and their lunch menu. If the dinner menu is the same as before we probably will just stick to lunch here.
I KNOW I'm in the minority, but I'm glad to hear it's the same food. We really enjoyed our dinner there last year. It was one of the few where my girls didn't either eat a hotdog or pick. They love ham, turkey, and mashed potatoes.
Thanks! I'm not saying that I don't like the items on the Dinner menu, I just think I would prefer that we are each able to pick what we want off the menu. So lunch it is for me!
We have a ressie in March. Loved the place with characters. Seems like it will be a little quiet and an uneventful without the characters walking around.
When they added characters they did a pretty good price increase. Now that they eliminated the characters & didnt lower the price isnt that a large back door price increase? My neighbors who are going in June have cut Liberty from their dinner list without the characters. They only paid the going rate for the kids & without the extra why pay what they are charging. Anyone feel they are overpriced now?

We love the lunch menu here. In particular the pot roast and the turkey. Although it would have been the last choice on my list, my BIL got the pasta which was also delicious.
I've never had dinner here. For a similar price you can get a terrific dinner over at GF.
Sorry if this has already been addressed in another thread, but has anyone asked or been told why Disney got rid of the characters? This was such a popular dining selection for many despite some negative reports of the food, that it just doesn't make too much sense that they would eliminate the characters.
I wonder if they are going to renovate/modify to some sort of other dining/character experience in the future and they are paving the way for closure?? Just a thought...
