WDW in 2 weeks! Trying some new restaurants. The guys on the Dis, killed Liberty Tree Tavern a few years ago, but recently reviewed it and liked it....and I think Pete is hyper-critical....and Kevin and John are "uber....hyper-critical" lol Anybody been there recently? I know they changed the menu a bit....any input? TIA!

We were last there in March (prior to that in December). It was good. On this particular day they were behind for whatever reason so we weren't seated until 30 mins after our reservation. We had a table right next to the kitchen which wasn't ideal and our waiter was harried. The food was good and we were served much more reasonable portions vs what we had in December. We missed a few items like the Mac and cheese but wondering if that was due to whatever was going on that day. Overall we've been happy with it. Thankfully we had a better experience in December so we knew our March trip wasn't the norm. I would recommend it.

I was there last November. It was good. The menu changes weren't my favorite (the flank steak was amazing and the pot roast that replaced it can't hold a candle to it) but my cousin, who was on her first trip there, enjoyed the food and thought it was really good. (Garden Grill in Epcot was her favorite)

We were there a few weeks ago for dinner and we were completely underwhelmed with the food. It was a one and done for us - and kinda wished we hadn't done. But everyone's tastes are different. Service was good , we just didn't enjoy the food. As a side note - the garden grill was one of our kids favorites from the year before so we were looking forward to another place that served semi similar items.

Ahh! My husband and I will be leaving for the world on September 17th! So we will be there the same time.
We have dinner reservations for Liberty tree as well - I have seen mixed reviews, but we love traditional Thanksgiving food, so we will see and do a review!

We like to go for lunch since the menu changes. Plus the Ooey gooey toffee cake is only available for lunch and is sooooo scrumptious.

I'm pretty bummed about the changes in beef.

I like it for lunch... the Colony Salad and Pilgrims' Feast haven't disappointed in the past.

I've always enjoyed the pot roast at lunch. Now that it is part of the dinner, we've got a dinner reservation coming up in a few weeks.

We've got an ADR for Monday the 19th....maybe see ya there!LOL

Ate there Saturday night. Food was good, dessert was ok. We have gone there multiple times, started out because of the mac and cheese but I think it has worn its course, plus the mac and cheese has been turning up at other restaurants. Plan on trying something different on the next trip

We loved dinner there in the past. We did lunch there a few weeks ago to save money and we loved it.

A friend and I had lunch there a few weeks ago. We didn't have an ADR- we just walked in and they immediately sat us! The service started wonderfully (we went right when they opened for lunch and we were the only people in the "George and Martha Washington Room") but got slower as the restaurant started to fill up. For an appetizer, we got sweet corn fritters and they were AMAZING! It came with sweet pepper jelly and was perfect! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, medium with sweet potato fries- all of which came out perfectly! My friend got the fish and chips- she said it was okay, and was surprised it came with coleslaw, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. She ordered the slush that they offer there and really enjoyed it! For dessert, we split the berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It was good, but it tastes the same as the cobbler you would get at any other table service restaurant.

It was a good meal overall, but I wouldn't hurry to go back. Like I told my friend- the cheeseburger was great, but not $16 great! :)

As others have said, we like lunch much more than dinner. Our lunch there in December was awesome!
