Just wondering if I could get some opinions from people who have eaten dinner at LTT. Thanks!

We haven't eaten there in a couple of years. We have been trying some other locations to change things up a bit. However, we really like the food. It is on our list of restaurants to eat at again. We just have little ones and have to make sure we do character dining for them.

Thanks for the reply. We have three little girls, and I had reservations at the Crystal Palace, until they all informed me that Pooh is for babies and they don't him or the characters. So we're looking for somewhere in the park to eat on our first night so we can stay to see the parade. Glad to hear someone likes LTT!

We had dinner at LTT on 2/1. It was very good. Both me and my husband liked it. The rolls are fabulous and the ham so good. And I do have to say I was impressed with the apple crisp. Normally I don't like anything but chocolate but it hit the spot.

:rotfl: Sorry - I can't comment on the food at LTT for dinner because we haven't eaten there since the characters left. But I had to laugh because our kids said the same thing. I wanted to book CP for breakfast before the park opens but they were both horrified:eek: at the idea of eating with Pooh pooh:because he is for "little kids". My kids are the ripe old age of 7 & 8.;)

That's funny - mine are 3, 5, and 7. My oldest daughter actually told me she hates Pooh, my middle one crinkled her nose when I asked if she wanted to eat with him, and my little one said she only likes princesses. I thought we would save a little money by eating at LTT for dinner, but it turns out it's almost as expensive as CP. But hey, it's Disney, so I guess everything is expensive. We want to stay for the parade so we'd like to eat somewhere in the park on the first night. LTT is the only one available right now with decent times, so I guess we'll try it out. I hope it's good!!!

I have eaten there 4 times..food plentiful, basic, okay, except the mac & cheese which was always awful, service slow, each time was worked in without reservations (hmmmm?) , bathrooms tiny and up steep narrow stairs. No characters & servers never attempted to act in historical ways. Food was like lead in tummy for rest of day...had to skip some rides for a while til it digested. Was the group's choice to go or i would not have eaten there so many times.:confused3

Crystal Palace was beautiful, all the food was great, fresh, with light as well as more substantial choices, and every character came by our table, which had no kids, so was very happy with entire experience.:cheer2:

Cinderella's Castle was huge disappointment...food awful, service awful, way too expensive, and princesses hurried past each table like flying evil monkeys were pursuing them.princess::crazy2:

We went in December last year. Can't say that it was a great meal, can't really recommend it either but if the menu sounds appealing to you, please give it a go.

We ate there a few years ago, when they still had the characters. The character interaction and their costumes were awesome and I'm sad that they are no more :(

We thought the food was great! Loved the bread and the salad. We thought the meat and the sides were really yummy, even the mac and cheese....but we are also fans of Stouffers foods and they are the sponsors of this restaurant (or at least they were a few years ago). We never buy Stouffers at home, so it was a treat for us. :)

I'm hesitant to return after experiencing this restaurant with the characters though. It seems like the restaurant will feel empty without them....

If you like Cracker Barrel, you'll probably like it fine. If you're used to good, country cooking, not so much.

Really love it. Everything was quite good, and the dressing was amazing. Miss the characters though.

We ate at LTT for dinner last February and I thought it was gross. It was basically Stouffer's dinners served to us at high prices.

:lmao:Seeing the 'Babies' Parade around the CP is always amusing to me.... My girls were 6, 7, & 8 the last time we went. They got a kick out of Pooh and Eeyore walking around.

As for the LTT: This is my families favorite TS at the MK. It is served family style and is a little more intimate than a buffet.

We love LTT! Meat (all of them) juicy and good. Kids love mashed potates and rolls. I LOVE the salad dressing. I try to save room for dessert, but usually do not have much room for it. Our family loves it (DS 10, DS6) and always make a ressie for first night in WDW as we always go to MK.
