Liberty Tree Tavern Dessert

Good question, a family of 4, would they get one each or 2 to share?

I saw a photo on a review where it showed it was served family style in a large skillet. It looked just like the a la carte Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake, but larger. The cake portion was much larger than a single serving and it was topped with two large scoops of vanilla ice cream and all the other toppings. The reviewer said it was more than enough for their family of 4.

I was not happy to find out that they have Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake instead of the Johnny Appleseed Cake, do you think they would serve left over fruit cobbler instead? That was the main reason I chose Liberty Tree, maybe they will change back before Sept, wishful thinking....

We're doing the AYCTE for lunch this year, if I doesn't change again, and I'm going to ask for the cobbler instead of the OGTC myself. I mean, how could it hurt? I couldn't possibly eat the OGTC anyway. It looks huge!

Ordinarily, it's a huge portion for the table. However, dinner is all you care to eat. So, if you still have a big appetite at the end of the meal, ask for another (and another and another) until you're full. My wife and I typically would save room to have the dessert twice, since we really love dessert.

Every time I have had it .............

Big thick chocolate chip cookie - hot.
Topped with ice cream, whipped cream and drizzle of chocolate & toffee.
Then sprinkled with toffee (Heath) chips.

You could ask them to hold off the toffee drizzle and chips .... then it's basically just chocolate chip. I've never been able to taste the toffee in the cake.
