Liberty Tree Tavern and SpectroMagic

Hi,

Thinking about adding Liberty Tree Tavern to our plans because DD just decided she HAS to eat with Minnie.

Would like to go to LTT and then watch parade- can you see the parade from LTT or are there special spots for diners to see it?

Any info would be helpful! Thanks

I don't think you can see it while dining, but we were eating lunch there on
thanksgiving day and just happened to finish at the same time the afternoon parade was passing and it was great viewing. So my suggestion would be to try and schedule your meal so you will be finishing 15 minutes or so before parade and grab a seat on the porch of liberty tree or goofys show, next door.

You can see it going by thru the windows, but not from very many tables. Also, the glass is colored and blurry to look old.

Minnie is at the breakfast buffet at Cape May at the Beach Club if that would work for you.

I thought about Cape May, but I remember reading somewhere that Minnie isn't always there. Did I get that wrong?

We had an 8:00 ADR there and then just walked out onto the porch to watch the Spectomagic. It is a great place to watch it from and the character interaction was great for us (and always has been - although our last trip before this one was 6 years ago.) characters came by several times and were very playful.

Does the porch area get crowded during the parades?

We watched Spectro from the ropes in front of the Hall of Presidents. We grabbed our spot when the first ropes come up and it did get crowded before the show. I believe it takes about 15 Minutes for the parade to start to reach the area, so I would plan on ending dinner 30 minutes before the parade to grab a nice spot outside to watch.

Thanks. I think I am going to make the reservation for 6:30 or thereabouts for the 9:00 Spectro. I think Hall of Presidents will be a good place to see it.
