i have never eaten here before.
I see it's no longer going to be a Character meal -
will they have the same food? ( i looked at the menu on allears, and it sounds very good)
will the prices be the same? or will they go down?

i am intrested in trying LTT on my trip.

any recent updates that i have missed ?

The word is that the menu will stay the same and the prices will also stay the same. The only change will be the removal of the characters.

We had LTT a couple of weeks ago for lunch and it acutally exceeded our expectations.

I had the crab cakes and pilgrims feast. The crab cakes were good (not out of this world, but they were good) and the plgrims feast was like eating thanksgiving dinner, it was pretty good!

Now, the dessert was OH. MA. GAHH. good. My DH had the Caramel apple tart & I had the strawberry shortcake. Both were very good! Especially the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream!!mmmm

1) No one knows what the menu will be after character removal.
2) It could be a whole new menu and ala carte.
3) Or, it could remain the same, but no characters.
4) We will have to wait and see.
5) I think they would have to change the menu to get "cash" people.

NOTE: Either of the above are possible. Sure, it would be a rip-off if the menu wasn't changed. However, DDP people have shown they are happy with less quality, so Disney might think it doesn't matter. There would be less "cash" diners, but the DDP's would still fill up the place.

Lunch and dinner are not the same menu. Lunch is ordered and served a la carte. Dinner is a preplated family style all you can eat meal. The best anyone can guess is that after the characters go they will keep the same dinner and the same prices, but there's no way to know for sure yet.
