I have a ressie for Ltt for dinner in one week and not sure if I should keep it. It would be 3adults and 1child paying out of pocket. We ate there 2years ago and enjoyed it however, I've heard more negative about the food quality and price than positive feedback. Anyone ate there recently and can offer me information or comment on their experience? Would love some help on deciding to go or cancel. Also we do eat lunch there every time at Disney and really like the lunch. Thanks for your help!

We ate there last September, so I don't know if that's recently enough for you. We loved it. When we go back, we only have 2 restaurants that we are doing again and LTT is one of them. I thought the food was really good and the dessert was amazing. We were stuffed. I have heard the same things about dinner there. Many people say they would only go for lunch. I've never had lunch there, but dinner, again, was great. Before we went, last year, I looked over all of the menus (and MK does not have many TS restaurants). I then went on tripadvisor.com and check out what other people had to say. LTT ranks pretty high on the list at tripadvisor.

We were there on Tues and we all loved it. I can't remember what the veggies used to be but it's now green beans (my fave) and a medley with zucchini which was delicious.

Thankyou thats good to hear. Hopefully there will be some more positive feed back

LTT is a must for us on every trip, it's my husband's favorite. We've only done dinner and always enjoy it.

NOTE: The dinner at LTT is pleasant and a nice way to spend some time in small dining
areas. The food is above average and, for WDW, priced reasonably. The pork loin is tender
and delicious. The carved beef usually rolls off your fork. Turkey-is-turkey, so not much
to add. Cobbler is nice and tasty; it's too bad the lunch gooey coffee cake isn't on the
or available at dinner! REALLY gooey. Fortunately, there's no more characters at dinner;
there's enough character meals in MK.

Thanks for the great feedback! Please keep it coming! I dont think its cobbler anymore I think its johnny appleseed cake. My kids love the birthday cupcakes maybe they will give them that for dessert?

It's my husband's favorite too. We usually make this our first meal of the trip. Expect comfort food. Turkey, roast, mac and cheese, stuffing, and veggies. If you are into a Thanksgiving meal type spread, you will enjoy it. -Amanda :cutie:

It's not cobbler anymore, it was some kind of cake with the vanilla ice cream.

We ate their last December and had a great time. The food was great. The pork tenderloin is very good, and I love Thanksgiving food, so that's a plus for me. A lot of people don't seem to enjoy the family style or Thanksgiving fare. If neither of those things interest you, then it's not a good choice. We loved the Johnny Appleseed cake for dessert. Most people rave about Ooey Gooey, but we thought the dinner dessert was very good. The service here can be hit or miss, but for the most part I think they do a great job.

WE ate there last June and this July. The food was great. We were a party of 8 with two picky eaters. It was a nice relaxing dinner in the middle of the fun!

i have a problem with the odors of the food being so strong. maybe that is done deliberately, but it really is unappetizing to me. the odors are very strong at liberty tree and also the restaurant in the lobby of the wilderness lodge.
i find the odor in the wilderness lodge to be very offensive.:confused3 maybe it is just me. i love the lodge, but when i stay there i am bothered every time i come back to my resort and am hit with that odor. but the food there is pretty good!

I believe they called it Johnny Appleseed cake when we were there last week, could be mistaken though as we ate at so many different places.

In all the years we have been going to WDW we have never eaten at LTT, but we will be dining there for dinner on our trip next week. Thanks for all the reviews and insights. I think we will enjoy it since we like Thanksgiving fare. DW in particular is a big turkey fan, so I'm thinking this will be one of her favorite meals on the trip.

So no chocolate option for dessert? Phooey

Could be I totally didn't pay attention to the menu. It was good though but completely different from a cobbler/crumble type dish.

Fine dining, it isn't. We like it, though. Family style, and the food is decent - you probably will not walk out of there hungry.

I've read the reviews too and I've seen the comparison to TV dinner food. I can sort of see that in reference to the turkey they serve...not because it isn't good, but it is sliced sort of like you find in those TV dinners (which, I admit, I don't mind). The rest of the meats and sides bear no resemblance to TV dinner food, IMO. And the turkey is good...and if this meal tastes just like a TV dinner to you...please let me know what brand you buy because THAT'S the one I want to eat! :)

We just got back a week ago. Trip from aug 30-sept 14, 2013. We are at LTT for the first time ever. Dinner. 10 people total, 4 adults, 6 children. Loved it so much we ended up doing a walk up a week later for dinner again. Next trip we will make 2 readies there. My 15 year old doesn't like masked potatoes, he loved them there and are a bowl all by himself. We thought the pork was best, then beef, then turkey. Loved the cake!
