Hi all -
I was going to eat at Liberty Tree for lunch (no characters) to save some money (we have other character meals). Is this one anything special that we shouldn't miss?

Similarly, I know I want to see the Fantasmic show but is it that hard to get in without the dinner packages which are quite pricey? I know H&V package is more inexpensive but I'm crossing my fingers for the Buzz breakfast or lunch and don't want to go there twice in a day.

We are going the 2nd week of June if that matters.

Thanks everyone.

I have never done the Liberty Tree. I really have to put that on my to-do list, it amazes me in all of our trips, we've never done it.

Last August we did Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic dinner package. It was pricey, but there was a ton a food for the price we paid, and it was all very good. There was a flat bread, salad, entree and dessert. It was nice to be able to wait almost to the last moment and then go walk in and sit down. We sat toward the back, so we culd get out fast. We have two DDs, 4 & 7, so the package worked great for us.

We have eaten dinner at Liberty many times for dinner. The food is good, and for lunch it is quiet....but not an absolute, unless You are doing dinner. We tried to do the Fantasmic dinner and they had a 3:30 seating...? We have gone twice before with no dinner package and had no problem getting in...the show is wonderful!

Liberty Tree for lunch is our family's absolute favorite for excellent food! Pilgrim's feast (Turkey, etc) or Pot roast are WONDERFUL! Plus ask for homemade rolls and honey butter (incl in price)! Sometimes we eat there twice on a trip! Yummmm! Cindy

Lunch at LTT is much better than the character dinner. Definitely go for it.

Would the lunch be considered a counter meal on the dining plan?

No, it's a full service table service restaurant. Counter service would be any fast food type of restaurant.
