I have never heard anything about this restaurant. I'm looking for counter service places to eat at Epcot. We always eat at Electric Umbrella but the foods not so good, plus its always a madhouse! How is the food at Liberty Inn? For the hamburgers - are their condiments available? Like pickles and such? Or is it a plain hamburger/cheese burger? I am thinking about bringing in pickles in a plastic bag for my meals! also little packets of mustard and ketchup! :lmao::thumbsup2

Is there a reason that you choose not to partake of the variety of ethnic foods available in the world showcase? Liberty Inn was a mad house when we were there last month. Six of us dined at Yakatori House in Japan (enjoying a wide variety of CS foods including sushi) while my three younger boys went over to Liberty Inn for chicken fingers. Well, lets just say, we were finished with our meals at Yakatori while they were just getting to place their orders. We had to sit with them to wait for their food and then eat it. The food was fine. I am thinking they have mustard, ketchup and pickles. Liberty Inn is second only to Electric Umbrella (I think) in disappointing reviews in EPCOT CS eateries. Nope, I just checked Allearsnet.com and found Liberty Inn is rated even slightly lower than Electric Umbrella... If you've never tried some of the other CS locations, I hope you will look at the menu offerings, prices and reviews before limiting yourself to Liberty Inn. There are some fantastic CS options in Epcot!

You would really carry around a bag of pickles??? I have never heard of anyone doing that before.

Yeah, I'd pass on Liberty Inn unless you have someone in your group that HAS to have a burger. Nothing magical about it ... you'd probably enjoy a PBJ that you made and carried in your backpack just as well. LOL!

Just kidding.

The food at Liberty Inn is nothing special in MHO.

For some reason my husband really loves this CS - I don't know why and I stopped asking about it years ago. :lmao: He likes the burgers and it's a nice place to sit and cool down when it is hot outside, but like some of the other posters have mentioned it is not really out of this world when it comes to the food. They do have a nice condiment section with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, etc. They also offered a wrap, salad and other sandwiches when we were there in February.

I like to grab something from Kringla in Norway and then walk down to Liberty Inn with DS. He likes to get a burger and I have no problem with that. Liberty Inn has all of the standard condiments.

I agree, there really isn't anything special with this CS. However, we have 2 young kids who likes to have hamburgers and chicken nuggets once in awhile while at WDW (they don't always get them while we are there), so we have been know to just get them something there then later on DH and I will head to a different country for ourselves.

LOL :rotfl: Yes I would....I would put them in a baggie and carry them in our backpack of course. ;) I just found the burgers at Electric Umbrella soooo bland....and I love pickles on my burgers! Thought it would make them taste a lil better.

I have a family of extremely picky eaters and I dont think I could get them to try anything but burgers and fries at World Showcase. But I think I am going to get on here tonight and look up menus, and see if I can find something everyone might enjoy. THanks for the replies!

It is pretty standard, boring burgers & chicken fingers. Our new favorite CS in Epcot is Sunshine Seasons in The Land building. The variety there pleases every member of our family. DH & I both had the rotisserie chicken with green beans & mashed potatoes. DD16 & DD11 had some type of gourmet sandwiches while DD6 had a mini sub. The bakery offers a great selection of items that count as desserts (or snacks) on DDP. We loved it.

I'm having to stretch my memory here. I got my kids food from Liberty Inn last trip. I had a brat. I'm pretty sure the burgers came with a condiment tray that included fixings like tomato, lettuce and pickles.

Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's have good fixin's bars for burgers.
