We did the Liberty Tree Tavern when we were at WDW in 2012 and also enjoyed it. I recommend it to everybody, but strongly recommend it to families with picky eaters, people who refuse to try new things, or insist on sticking to meat and potato type "American food." I'm glad to hear you liked it, too.

Yeah we are meat & potatoes ppl too. The mac & chz was even good. I wasnt sure it being stouffers & all. I promised hubby we wouldnt go back to WDW until after the Mine coaster opens

I'm so glad to have spotted this the second I opened the page. I just cancelled out Crystal Palace breakfast (no reason other than we have done it before and wanted to try different restaurants this trip) and booked an early LTT lunch as we've never been there. So glad you loved it so much I'm excited to eat there now

We experienced it in January 2010 and it was pretty good. The characters were the best part of the meal. It was the easiest experience for getting autographs.

We had lunch there in Sept 2011 and it was one of my favorite meals. I had the turkey meal and DH and the IL's had the pot roast. Everyone was thrilled with their meals and it is on our repeat list for our Nov 13 trip.

So glad I saw this post. We went here on our honeymoon in 1991.. and we booked it for our March trip. I debated to cancel it.. but after your wonderful comments.. we are keeping it.
I read there are NO LONGER characters at this resturant. Is that true?

That is correct, there are no characters

We had lunch there on the 16th and the pot roast was
VERY good. Excellent. the men had the burgers and loved
them, and the MIL had the salad and she really enjoyed
that too. Kids had mac n cheese and cleaned their plates.
