Las Vegas Liberace Museum

Is it worth going to see the museum? Looks like they have a free shuttle from various hotel stops.

If you like Liberace then it is worth going to. Even though I am not a big fan of his, it was definately something different to do than spend time in the casinos & hotels.
They have a cool collection of his cars, various pianos, & his family history in one section and then across the way where it continues, it has his costumes & accessories. They even have a store & cafe, but when I was there, the cafe wasn't open. But his Trivoli Gardens restaurant that is next door to the museum has the best broccoli fettucine I've ever had! It was definately a good way to spend our rainy afternoon.

It's closing Oct. 17, 2010, fours day before our trip. The only good thing about that is now we don't have to decide whether or not to do it, and if it's worth trying to drive there from the strip.

It's good we have tickets for Jubilee (clothed version) so we can get our fill of kitsch.
