Went there yesterday for the 1st time because they were having a plant sale. Admission was free but it's only $5 otherwise and well worth it. 50 acres - everything very well marked - something you don't always see.

Plant sale is an annual event and soooo much fun. 80 vendors - some very unusual things and some wonderful prices. I just bought 2 more plumeria - $10 for huge cuttings - one a 2-tip. Don't buy cuttings at Epcot - as someone there explained to me they have to store them for too long and their lack of freshness impedes their growth. Leu Gardens has a website. If you are going to be down here next year at about this time, check into the plant sale.

I think I have 14 but one may be dead. One seems to have flower buds. They are just breaking dormancy now.

One man on the plumeria forum at Gardenweb is having a party in April. He is the man who sent me 3 cuttings which are doing very well. He just got back from Hawaii with 125 new cuttings. See I"M not obsessive.

No, not obsessive, just passionate about your plumeria. ;) :)

He brought 125 cuttings back from his trip...wow! Are you going to his party? :)

I'm going to his party - he has 1,000s of plants. Bringing my sister. She is 81 - doesn't see well and has been ill - although she was driving her car and living alone until last Christmas. She is a wonderful gardner and she is thrilled.

Hmmm.....I'm betting you'll be bringing more cuttings home from the party! :) Kind of like party favors.

I hope you and your sister have a wonderful time. It sounds like she's overdue for some fun. :)
