Both DD and DS got their permits at 15. DD got her license at 16 and DS will as well when he turns 16 in April.
It's a matter of necessity around here for them to drive. DH and I both work full time, and things are so spread out that a car is necessary to get practically anywhere. Fortunately, both are pretty mature and seem like responsible drivers thus far (fingers crossed).
