letters to mickey!!!!

i saw a address to write Mickey a letter. i was wondering if anyone has done this?

When We got back from our first Disney trip, DS(4 then) wanted to send Mickey a Christmas card. We sent it to the main address at Disney World, not expecting anything. A few weeks later he received a Christmas card from Mickey and Minnie with their picture on Main Street USA all dressed in their Christmas attire, and it was signed personally to my son by both of them! We have it in our living room to this day. It was such a nice surprise!

What's the address? I'd love to do this with my kids!

My mom had a one day trip to Epcot in Jan. while visiting a friend in Tampa and sent a WDW postcard from *Mickey* saying, "Glad you came to see me in December, come again soon!" They are 8 and still asked how Mickey remembered where we live!! I love Disney magic! They'd love sending Mickey a card!

Funnier was the postcard *Mickey* sent DH saying, "Wanna score big with your sweetie? Join me on one of my cruises- Your Pal, Mickey" I laughed hysterically at the look on his face!! (and yes, the kids and I just about have him talked into a 2009 cruise )

Its free and mm will send your child a letter back. You probably need to make sure you send a return address. Hope this helps!

If you are looking for a more personalized note...i would suggest checking out the fairy godmailer threads. I do this every year (I mean I send the cards out every year). The fairy godmailer will send your child a postcard (free of cost) signed from whatever character you choose. They can include personal info (special events, ADRs, hotel info) on the card.
