Letter From The Mouse Himself!

As some of you may know, if you send a wedding invite to Mickey and Minnie Mouse's address you might just hear back from them.

After I got home from work yesterday I came home to find a giant envelope , in it was a signed black and white photograph of Mickey and Minnie in front of the Disneyland castle! It was awesome!

Both my DF's name and my name were handwritten by Mickey, and they both autographed it. It was so sweet. Now I've gotta scrounge up a frame to put it in.

I'm thinking it'll be the beginnings of our Disney room!!

Oooh, how exciting! Which WDW address do you send it to? I'm not getting my hopes up but it would be a wonderful start to our Disney wedding to have something like that come through the post. Plus I could surprise my DF with it, he would think it was awesome too!

I thought about it as well, and I also addressed 2 different invitations to each "couple." I am having a big (400 person) reception at home, and then a disneymoon, but my theme is Cinderella, so to have something back from her would be my dream in the year "of a million dreams"

i wish someone would scan their photo that mickey sent them. My wedding was in November-- but after hearing this I found an old invitation and sent it (They probobly wont even look at the date). Hopefully I will get one in the mail too. How long did it take you to receive it??

Anyone want to scan a photo of the one they sent you?

I wondered the same. I went to Walmart and bought some cute little Wilton 'do it yourself' invitations that I have written up. I am going to send one out to all of the major characters.

There was thread on here a while back about a guy who had been sending out invitations to actors and getting back congratulations cards. He was going to put it together for his bride. I cannot find the thread to save my life with this new search system on the dis!

Haha, that's what I loved about it, the handwriting was cute. It was signed, not computer-generated, so that made it even cooler. I love that Minnie's writing is in pink.
