Let's talk Pirates and princess party!

When you purchase a ticket for the P&PP, that is all you need. For example, on the day of our P&PP, we went to Animal Kingdom that morning. After an early dinner we headed over to the Magic Kingdom, walked right up to the ticket booth, bought our tickets and walked right in.

The ticket is all you need - no other park admission and you don't have to be at Magic Kingdom that day.

Also - a pp asked about the time of the fireworks, and I want to say our parade was at 8:45 and the fireworks were somewhere between 9:30 and 10:00? I remember by the time we got back to the room and got the kids to bed it was 11:00. My kids are young - 2.5 and almost 5. We had them take late naps that day. They definitely were tired by the time the parade came by, but it perked them right up. Make sure you don't plan an early morning the next day.

We did the P&PP in the beginning of February & it was lots of fun!!!

The parade started at 8:30 and the fireworks were at 9:45. Definitely would do again!

We will be at the PP&P party this Friday, and I can't wait. Since I have read many people talking about costumes, I ordered the Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan costumes for my kids, and they are GREAT. You can't tell so much from the pictures on the website, but the ES costume is velvety and comes with a tri-cornered hat. Too cute. And the JS is a nice quality too, far better than the one I got at Target after Halloween.

This trip is a complete surprise for the kids (DS4 and DD2) as they were just there in November with my parents, this one is with the in-laws. We are going to surprise all the kids (mine, nieces) at the airport. Should be loud!!

Now I just have to finish packing in the basement and hide the suitcases.

I'm subbing too. I just found out that there is a P&PP on 6/4 which is the last one scheduled for awhile. I think we're going to add it on. DD's birthday is on 6/3, this whole trip is a surprise for her birthday...

Are there many grown ups dressed up? I do pirate reenacting for fun, so I can dress pretty convincing as a pirate. Arghhh!
