lets talk about this Credit Card shall we. LONG

dcfromva, can't give you further details over and beyond what the company advertises at this point, I have not yet received my card let alone use it to check out the offers. But it definitely offers far more descriptions than Disney's! It is among the nation's best rewards credit cards, offering beaucoup de rewards with each dollar, and not capped.

I don't know if the front of the line access with the MC is a one-time thing but, even if so, it is far more than what Disney's offers!

Sorry if this has been asked already but does anyone know if you can use the reward dollars to buy AP's? Also, can you use them to pay off resort charges? We are in DVC so we don't need the card for discounts or delayed billing on hotel packages but we could use the reward dollars to pay off restaurant charges etc. Anyone know? Thanks for you help!

From the bankone site:

This rewards certificate may be redeemed only toward select merchandise, recreation, lodging, food, beverages and Walt Disney World® admission tickets at participating locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort and on Disney Cruise Line® ships.

Starwood had posted on the Cruise Line Forum that she had called both BankOne and Disney Cruise Line about the rewards certificates and what they are good for.

The answer from BankOne was basically: "We Don't Know." And the answer from DCL was "We Don't Take Them". So, even though it may state one thing on the printed material from BankOne and the BankOne/Disney website, putting those rewards certificates to use may be a real challenge.

The website does say that you should called to find out if a particular location, retail item or service is either "select" and "participating" before redeeming for your reward. I think it would be better if they state what, where and when from the get-go!

I already applied for Universal's MC, among the best credit cards in the market (#13 in your list but after the #1, AMEX, the Chase is second best company).

With front of the line privileges for just being a card holder, I challenge Disney to offer anything beating or even coming close to that!

TofL,
Here's a link to the .Universal/IOA Forum where they are discussing the same thing. Kellymonaghan wrote to Chase and got a response that the FOTL access is not available simply by showing your credit card. To paraphrase, it is currently only available by booking a VIP Tour, a Hollywood Deluxe Pass or a resort package. Sorry! It just sounded too good to be true!:(

Bank One wouldn't know what the rewards can be used for. They are only the co-sponser. (Similar to asking Fed-Ex what e-ride nights Space Mountain will be open).

If you call the Disney Hotel where you are staying, they will tell you that they accept the certificates. This is how I intend on using them :)
