Ok, so since my trip is in 20 days . . . .I know exactly what I'll be purchasing at the Confectionary . . .

Chocolate Coconut Patties
Fudge

Ok . . .who's next??

we are going on Friday and we will be getting Peanut butter cups with the little mickey head on top.

We are going in 17 days and I don't know what or where the Confectionary is. Sounds like a must see to me. Where is it?

I'll DEFINITLY be getting the Goofy Sour Straws (and the chocalte covered Rice Krispie treats at the confectioner on the Boardwalk!)

The Confectionary that I always go to is the one on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom

:wizard: :pug:

Fudge for me too! We have to get a tin full of fudge at every trip!

Build your own mickey rice krispie treats at Goofy's Candy Co. at DTD (where you choose the toppings for the rice kripie treat and they make it while you watch)!! I dream about these and can't wait to go back and get another one ::MickeyMo

Those oversized pecan clusters and chocolate covered strawberries. Yum. :bounce:

(I'd also like to add that the candied apples looked awesome!!)

Holy cow! :earseek:

I think anything I've read from Goofy's Candy Co. is on the list...those build your own rice krispie treats sound to die for! And I've heard they make some wonderful caramel corn, too!! And maybe some fudge for DH, who didn't get any on our last trip, but stood outside the place on Main Street with his face next to the glass like a little boy.

I keep trying to convince DH and DS that one trip we should just snack our way through the world....lol

Keep the ideas coming ya'll...between this thread and the one one on photos of your Disney food, my poor laptop may short circuit!!

Oh my gosh, those sound right up my alley!! Is Goofy's Candy Co the new plave in DTD? Cuz I MUST go there now!

:wizard: :pug:

I read on another thread about some awesome Peanut Brittle... does anyone know where this is, it is my granddad's favorite & I would ♥ to take him some when we go to Tampa. TIA

Build your own rice krispie treats? What's that (she said drooling with anticipation)? Also, does it taste like they use butter or margarine or some other non-butter substance? (quietly muttering: please say butter, please say butter, please say butter) :flower:

These are sooo good. They are at Goofys Candy Company at Downtown Disney MArketplace. You fill out a form and then choose your toppings. They then take the mickey shaped rice krispie treat and dip it into what every toppings you selected. Like milke chocolate or white chocolate and then a candy topping like butter finger, oreo , etc. They also do custom dipped pretzel rods, marshmellow sticks, apples, and big oreo fudge cookies.I ate way too many of these to count on our trip a week ago.

I'm not sure what they make the rice krispie treats with, but here's a picture of mine! You can see in the background all the little bins with candy that they dip them in. I got mine dipped in white chocolate, then dipped in sprinkles on one side and mini m&ms on the other. Not the world's greatest picture, but you get the idea! :)

Hmmmm.....Chocolate covered marshmallows :lovestruc and my husband always takes a trip into the Boardwalk bakery for one of those massive cupcakes!!!

oh my goodness: I will be going for the Mickey Rice Crispies, the Marshmellows that are dipped in chocolate and then M&M's and served on a MM straw, and the covered pretzels mmmmmmmm.

I can hardly wait to get to Goofy's Candy Company. It was under construction when I was there last. I might have to make multiple visits with all of the treats I have heard about from there.

warning to all there will be NO Large Mickey heads with the ears dipped in chocolate at MK on any days I go there. Last year I purchased so many of them the lady shipped them to my room for me. This is not done I was told. OK I did purchase 14 of them. :rotfl: That was all they had available that day. I told them I would be back the next day for more. I purchased another 5. I now know to put my order in when I get to the park and they will put aside for me. :rolleyes1

Ok you buy all the Tshirts I know what my friends like and its chocolate dipped Mickey heads. I have my DH boss so hooked on them he gave me $200 to buy them and bring back. He also gave me a few UPS shipping labels to charge the shipping back to him at the office. :rotfl2:

This is the most requested item I have brought back for people.

Now I have to find the local package place to purchase the box and ship them off. HMMM I wonder if the front desk can help.
