Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Tonight our sweet baby girl entered God's kingdom in Heaven. As always she was surrounded in the love of her Mom, Dad and her wonderful boys. She took her last breaths on my lap as we listened to The Irish Lullaby. Molly Allison we are so lucky & blessed to be your family, so proud of our brave little girl. Our hearts are broken, but lightened to know you now know no pain in heaven. We are comforted in knowing Great Grammy is rocking you tonight, Great Grandpa has that little bag of candy just for you, & Sweet Ashleigh has the popcorn and CareBear movie ready for you girls. God is holding you perfectly in his hands. Sweet Dreams Lady, See you soon!
love
Dad, Mom, Andy and Noj

God bless, Molly!

I saw this..It's just so awfully sad..I'm going to go hug my babies

That poor little girl :guilty:

Her parents and siblings will be on my mind for a long time.

Again-Why does this happen? Why is evil allowed to roam and this child is gone forever?

I can't wrap my mind around it.

I can't imagine the pain these parents are going through. Very sad. :sad1:

I hate to see this update. :sad2: Very very sad.

They've updated the page again with the story of her last day and evening. Warning: it made me sob. Her parents are truly amazing people.

That poor family, I cant imagine how horrible it is to lose a child.
Ill be saying lots of prayers for them.
I am off to hug my little guy for a long long time now.

Our little Sunshine
Last night as we carried our sweet baby wrapped in her cozy blanket out for her ride, the moon shone brightly over our sadness. Today the sun shone bright as so many memories are at every turn.

We only want to tell this story once so if you are up to it read on...Our Thursday night was disturbing with Molly coughing up plenty of blood. We gave her a med to help this and she slept ok most of the night. I held her little hand for 5 hours just to be sure she didn't need help-I'm so glad I did. My maternal instint told me I could not go another day watching this blood come up. We called clinic and took her in for platelets and red blood Fri. morning. We decided the boys should stay home to spend time with her. She said " I want the boys to come to clinic with me.... We need to bring some lifesaver chewies and bags for us to share. I'd like strawberries & Rice Krisp. in my bag." So off the 5 of us went. A day at clinic, may not be how you'd spend your last day but it was meant to be. With the help of our awesome childlife friends Jodie and Shauna she made hand print keepsakes with the boys and watched movies. We spent time with some of our favorite nurses. Aunt Marcia brought up McDonalds for Lady and Aunt Kathy came to visit. She was surrounded by love. I was peaceful that we were giving blood products to help her energy and bleeding problems. Also as reassur. I ask Dr. Mitchell if we could run a quick urine on Molly just to reconfirm things were rapidly progressing. She started having a headache about 4 and Tylenol 3 didn't cut it. She came home and snuggled on the couch. She's had big plans for the evening playing restaurant & strolling Bunny to "her play clinic." She seemed quiet & tired. About 7 she had more blood come up and a very dazed look. She nodded when we asked her if she could hear us for a few minutes. Andy and Dan heard a muffled "I love you."She gazed at our faces, and the sparkling lights of our tree. She was having a seizure and finally took her last little breath. Dr. Mitchell came over to the house after she had passed. She told us her urine levels were 4 times what last Thur. were. It is likely she had this seizure due to involvement progressing around her brain. She went with no pain and that was our wish. We miss her so so much & keep thinking we'll see her walking through the door with that Bunny.

We've planned her visitation for Monday evening at Zaagmans on Burton from 6:30-9pm. Her funeral is Tues. at 11am at St. Paul's Parish right next to the church. Please join us for a celebration of Molly's life and leave your tears behind. She lived a short but so fulfilling life. We don't find it coincidence that she was called to Heaven on the feast of the Immac. Conception of Mary. We know the Queen of heaven was there to greet our little princess. Please keep us in your prayers as this has been the most difficult day of our lives. Check for a new star in the sky tonight.
Love and thanks
the Caveras

We have ordered some joyful pink & orange(her fav. colors)flowers for our little lady. We're celebrating the life of our girl. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to lunchforlife.org (molly's giving tree). So much more research is needed.

I had followed this little girls story and to read her last day, I was bawling. Thank you for posting the update here.

Oh God. That knocked the wind right out of me.

For some reason, this line made me sob..."We need to bring some lifesaver chewies and bags for us to share. I'd like strawberries & Rice Krisp. in my bag."

Such innocence. The baby is slowly wasting away and she is concerned about the snack she will share with her brothers. That is beautiful.

Words can not even come close right now. My thought and prayers to all that love Molly.

How terribly sad..I will never understand children being given to us for such a short time. I cannot imagine the heartbreak..

Many blessings that little Molly is in a much better place..

Poor, sweet baby :sad2:

Thank you for sharing Molly's story.
It breaks my heart everytime I hear of a child going through this.

Molly will stay in my thoughts this holiday season. I donated and wanted them to know I was hopeful. God Bless Her family. This is so heartbreaking. I wish other would continue to donate $5 and help innocent other children....Please give if you can. Think if it were your child or someone you knew. :guilty:

I just put an ornament on her tree, too. It made me so sad to see that my donation gave her another chance to win a trip to WDW, or something like that, when she can never go now. :sad2:
