I took 6 shots of all this all unfolding and the shame of it is that all my pictures of this event of Baloo and my DD has this lady in it.

Lady? What lady?

Oh and on the crocks with socks question... is it ok if I wear socks with jeans and socks that match???? :confused3

yes it is ok. they dont look bad with jeans, and if the sox match the croc color :thumbsup2 you pass on the fashion police :goodvibes

Oh good... because I wandered out tonight with crocs and socks - white because I have the white mary janes ones... and they were very comfy and nobody noticed!!! (of course here, not many people look at my feet!!! :rotfl: )

I will have to look for some socks to match the crocs I look for at WDW... do they have the princess ones??? Silly question, I know...

what not to wear! PLEASE deep six the sox! :scared1:

Oh what I mean is... it isn't the Crocs that is a no no, its the sox. The white sox with red and black Crocs on man, just don't do it for me personally. I wear Crocs myself WITH sox BUT only with long pants. :thumbsup2 I wouldn't say Crocs are attractive, but they are the best for comfort for sure :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Or so you thought. Wait a few days and a picture of your feet will end up on this thread. :rotfl:

I posted this on another thread, but I think it belongs here as well.

Take off those crocs 'n' socks and stick those aching dogs in the.... fountain?

I guess I'm an exception on here....I don't really see how this so terrible & nasty :rolleyes1
My thoughts are that obviously this is not connected to any drinking water or fish etc so it's not like it's contaminating anything.
It's obviously filtered and/or treated, but there is the possibility of "catching" something icky from someone else's feet.
Far as the crocs go....it's just something about them, I just really don't care for how they look. But if they are comfortable for other people then I'm glad they wear them. People NEED to be in whatever shoes are comfortable for them! For me it happens to be sneaks.
Now back to the What the?? pics!

I think it's terrible because it's not a fountain to soak your feet in, it's for everyone to see and enjoy not someone or a group of people soaking there puppies. I wounder how many people past by there and wanted to take a picture by the fountain but couldn't beacuse they were "just relaxing"...........:sad2: IMO very low class of people. That would of been my first thought.:rolleyes1

I hope the water from the water fountain comes from somewhere else. :lmao:

Found this thanks to a friend & don't want to loose it. I have only looked at page 1 & can't wait to find some time to peruse it more.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I don't see anything other than a group of people having a good time and cooling off.

And exactly how do you know that's not what it's there for. :confused3 Just because one person wouldn't use it for that doesn't mean others shouldn't. There is no health hazard, the water is treated, no one drinks from it or bathes in it, so what's the harm? These folks might be from Europe where they have fountains everywhere and it is a common sight to witness people soaking their feet in them. Most societies are not as uptight as we are. I doubt that there were hordes of people that just had to have a picture of that particular fountain and left devastated because these people were using it. I wish I could have as good a time as they are appearing to be having.

:yay: :cool2:

Notice that none of the people with their feet in the fountain had Crocs on. No wonder they needed to soak their feet! Poor people, having to wear tennis shoes around all day ;) .

Ok, here's one. Notice the girl in the background posing with my best friend and I doing shots at PI. WE HAVE NO CLUE WHO SHE IS!! This is before digital cameras so we just couldn't recreate the shot. What aggravates me is that was my bachelorette party and it would have been a really cute shot of the two of us. I get playing around but why would someone do something like that -- again, esp. before digital. We didn't know that happened (we asked someone a cast member to take the shot so he/she probably didn't realize) until we got home and got our pix developed.

IMO I don't think this is what that fountain is supposed to be for, otherwise I'm sure we would see a sign that say's "please soak your feet here, because it looks real nice as other guests are passing" If I was there and I saw these people doing that I personally would not say anything to them, it's not me that looks like a low life, again IMO................as for as having a good time, I have had many in WDW, & many more to come.......my personality is far from DRY (no pun intended).....I have sen many funny, cute and adorable thing that people do in WDW, and again IMO this is not one of them.
