The poor kid made a horrible clunking noise as she was trying to keep up with her friends. I kept thinking, "Please don't tell me you've been walking all over WDW with those shoes." (The picture was taken at about 7pm)

OMG!!! I saw that guy!!!
There were some great costumes there Friday night. My camera takes really bad night pictures, so I couldn't get any on film... but one guy had an "Operation" game costume on. He had a pink body suit and all of the "Operation" pieces drawn on it!

The best was a guy dressed as a giant Whoopie Cushion- too bad I missed the picture. :lmao:

My sympathies!. DW and I bought two new pairs of hiking shoes, hiking socks, broke the new shoes in, etc. She still got blisters!

Some of the little ones were wearing shoes that did not look as comfortable as the heels that the girl in the pic was wearing. (I wonder if the parents do that on purpose, to get them tired quickly?)

Also saw a LOT of people wearing "flip-flops", wouldn't that get uncomfortable after a few hours?

Also how are the CROCS for long term Disney park visiting?
(thinking about getting a pair of them!)

I just got back from a four day quickie (vacation, that is :cutie: ) and I walked 8.75 miles (travel day-arrived at 1pm), 10.25 miles, 13.5 miles, and 5.25 miles (travel day-left park at 2pm). I mostly wore Teva's (the ones with the ankle strap) or the Mush ones. Mush Tevas are flip-flops, but are very comfortable and have a lot of padding. I can't imagine wearing the Old Navy ones for more than a few hours.
As for Crocs, I LOVE them and wear them to work (I'm in the medical field), but they can get a bit warm and I was afraid my feet would sweat.
**Along that same topic, I rode Soarin' next to a guy who took his Crocs off for the ride. Although the manufacturers claim Crocs won't hold in odors, they don't mention that if you have stinky feet and suddenly take off the Crocs, rather than absorb the stench, the funk is released for a 10 foot radius. Gag!**

I've posted this one on another picture thread before but thought it was appropriate to go here because when I saw it I literally said "What the...". This was taken in the men's room, which might very well be the nicest bathroom on property, at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness. I left it large so you can see the detail...

Is that the promo picture from the movie Brokeback Mountain????

Goooood point on the Crocs. I did notice that the Disney Crocs have a lot of vent holes (hidden mickies!!) I was thinking of a set of POTC (yo ho yo ho) Crocs! My DW had a pair of the "professional" crocs like you wear for work and swears by them. She was going to get a pair at WDW but couldn't find her size. (believe me, we checked about five different stores!!)

FYI our two "furslugs" were gotten through petfinders!

I wear the Pearl Professionals to work every day. Last February, my Mom and I went on a 'girl's trip' to WDW. The high temp was barely cracking 60 degrees, so we wore our Mickey Crocs all week and did great! No blisters and no sweaty feet!
Soarin' guy had Crocs with vent holes, but he still made my nose hairs curl. In his defense, it was really, REALLY HOT that day.

This thread has taken a turn to poking fun at random strangers.

Please don't post any pictures of recognizable people with the intention of making fun of them, their bodies etc. Not cool.

Let's keep it light and fun ok? The negative energy from the 'making fun of posts' is just not cool.

Thanks,

Knox

Yeah... but I think he's only got 3 mickey fingers!!!!

Sorry I don't have a picture...wish I did, but "What the...???" would have been the title of it if I had caught my poor 6 year old son's face :confused3 when he was waiting right outside the stall for me in the ladies room and put some coins in the machine to get a pressed penny...........yup...he got a tampon!!!:rotfl2: Oh the poor boy was so upset he wasted his quarters. What is this dumb thing he kept asking me? A few ladies got a good laugh!

LOL! My DS4 thouht they were candy machines! He didn't understand why they didn't have the candy machines in the boy's bathroom! :lmao:

We bought Holey Soles (which are like Crocs but a little more pricey and a little better, in our opinion) and broke them in before we went. We were able to wear them all week with little problem and it was HOT! (We went in August.) The only time I had any trouble was the day that we walked around the MK for 14 hours straight! I had a few hot spots after that night. But other than that, they were great.

And what are those ladies laughing at?!?!?! Could it be all of his DISNEY TATTOOS........

Just great, I have my Minnie costume and had DH all sweet talked into being Mickey, and then this shows up. He said NO WAY, I'm not ending up on that thread. I may have to resort to drastic measures.:wizard:
