Joely Richardson is leaving the show. Her dd is having medical issues. She *may* be back - depends on how the dd does.

oh man, I hadnt heard that. Know what kind of medical issues?

Nip/Tuck is such a good show. I love it. Although when they had the whole Carver thing, I mostly kept my eyes shut. It freaked me out so bad. Last night's show was so weird. Was not one of my favorites. But it was so funny to see Christian as an old man all pimped out.
Julia bugs me to no end. For that matter her and Sean's relationship is such a farse. I hope she does move to NY and they get someone really good to hook up with Sean.
And Christian getting married??? I do not think it can happen. He is the total stud of the show and him getting hitched would just take so much away from his character.

There was an article in the Nov 13 TV Guide & it said,

..."What the future holds nobody can say," says Richardson, sitting in her trailer... "It's all up in the air. And I don't know if I will ever be here again....

Her only child is facing multiple surgeries on her leg due to a circulation problem with her veins. Daisy, 15, was diagnosed with the rare condition shortly after her first birthday.....

But we may not have seen the last of Julia. Hoping Daisy has a fast recuperation, Murphy [show's creator] is writing a version of the December 12 finale that includes Richardson. And, he's praying that she'll make it back next season: "I don't want to do the show without her."

I hadn't heard that she's leaving the show. Not sure how I feel about that. Sometimes I like her and sometimes I don't. But, yes Julia and Sean get divorced. Adult Connor said last night that his parents got divorced when he was 6 months old.

I was underwhelmed by last night's episode. The rest of the season has been stellar though. I thought future Julia looked good (a lot like her mother), but Christian and Sean looked way older than 62. Especially for being plastic surgeons. :rotfl:

Did anyone think that we were going to know the therapist. They never showed him which I thought was weird. I kept thinking they were going to pan over and it was going to be Brook Sheilds or Escobar.

I was bored w/ last night's episode...I adored last week's though. I don't think the show needs the Julia character...they've done about all they can do, and I certainly don't want to see another minute devoted to Coner. I liked the Sean/Kimber pairup, and I think a Christian/strong woman pair up would be great...but someone he was absolutely mad about...not Brooke Shields, and not a reformed hooker. They could do a lot there, he finally meets his match, some kind of trauma. The Kimber/Matt relationship is ridiculous...must have been a vehicle to keep both of them in the show. I like Kimber though...Matt could take a hike.

I used to hate Matt, but I'm actually loving the scientology storyline. I don't like him with Kimber because she's a uh, not nice person. :rotfl: But at least he's not a freak anymore. He looked better at 38. Not quite so Michael Jackson-ish. Oh what about Annie/Jan Brady. OMG that was hysterical! :happytv:

I kept waiting and waiting to see who he was. Maybe he just isn't essential, or maybe it is a teaser for future episodes/seasons.

Matt looking like Jacko is so true. That was not cute at all. I agree with you that he looked better as an older version of himself. I thought the later in life Annie was too funny. I was disappointed because in my mind Matt would always be the messed up one and somehow Annie would be that one glimmer of hope for normality. The Scientology story line is a good twist on things. But I am just not buying the Kimber/Matt deal. It is just too weird for me to accept. And that is saying alot considering I am a fan of the show.

Kind of like another scientology couple we know. I wonder if there actually is a baby. :rolleyes1

Last night's episode was so-so IMHO. I enjoyed seeing the older version of Christian..EXACTLY like I pictured him :rotfl: If you notice, he did say something about marriage not working out, so I can only assume he really does marry Michelle and things don't work out somewhere down the road. I did hear that part correctly right?

I also liked seeing that Marlowe was still a part of Connor's life. I really enjoy Marlowe's character, even though it didn't work out with Julia, which is just fine with me! It made me smile that Marlowe had gotten married and had a child of his own, he just seems like a good guy.

Matt looks HOT in the future  I don't know if it was the facial hair or just the dramatic difference in his overall features, but he looked beautiful! I didn't hear him mention Kimber...were they still married???

Annie's older self was absolutely uproarious and I can totally see that happening. She is never the focus on the show or of any storyline; I'm not even sure why they keep her on the show to be honest.

I'm sorry to hear that Joely's daughter is ill, but quite frankly, I can live without Julia. Something about her voice and the way she acts just really irritates me!!!

The only part about this week's show I enjoyed was the daughter...she was absoutely hysterical. wasn't that jan brady from those brady bunch movies?
