while touring WDW?

Me, I will happily enjoy pretty much every single attraction at any WDW park but I'd have to say that nothing gets my family groaning worse than when we go to see the Country Bears Jamboree :lmao: But I love it & I remember enjoying it when I was a child....ah, memories :lovestruc

A close second would probably be It's a Small World. My guys were elated when it was closed for refurb our last trip in 2010 but I'm planning to ride it numerous times this summer to make up for lost time :rotfl2:

Hopefully I won't be riding alone :goodvibes

So tell me, what makes your family groan when they realize you've got them lined up for?

popcorn::

Nemo the Musical... Me and DH fell asleep during it. It was so cold in there and the 100 degree summer weather, it was such a great place to sleep.

That said, I don't want to do it again.

I groan every time my partner says, "Let's go in Innoventions!" He returns the favor whenever I suggest the Jungle Cruise.

:rotfl2: That happened to DS and I - we both nodded off. However, I wanted to give it another chance but DS already warned DH to just say no :rotfl: I was able to get them both over to see Flights of Wonder tho :cool2:

~Epcot. While we love Epcot, this is the only park that makes us groan upon arrival. We go in August and you can see the steam rising from the ground, there is so much concrete and it is so HOT! But, after a few minutes of adjusting, we're having a blast, lol.

~DH & I groan about the tea cups too, but the kids love it, of course! LOL @ Finding Nemo, it will be a while before we see that again. I'll have to make sure we get better and closer seats. I really wanted to love it.
:( :goodvibes

Dh doesn't really groan at anything - but I groan when he want to see Captain EO. Its just soooooo dated and I didn't really care for it to begin with

I would have to say the heat will do it.

Oh, I have a good one, people who stop in the middle of the walkway to read the park map. Move over people, we are coming through!

Didn't even think of that but ITA!!!

Rides that make me groan are It's a small world and the teacups. This year I will NOT be doing them. Luckily DH is all about it. :thumbsup2

DH sounds pretty cool to me....just sayin'. :hippie:

IASW and Hall of Presidents......And the Electric Parade.

Then again, I hate all three of them too. lol.

Maybe my obsession with Fantasmic will finally get to them this year! haha

Leaving...

Yup, that's about it.

Of course, I also travel solo, so if I'm groaning that I don't want to do something, I simply don't do it (or, if I still do it, then I have some serious issues :p)

I guess that... and hearing people say "You're going to Disney alone? Again? Don't you get bored and/or lonely?" (Well, they don't say "and/or", but you get the drift.)

Toss up between IASW and Figment.

What's wrong with Figment? I use to, and probably still do at my parents house, have a Figment piggybank. It's been probably 20 years since I've been to Epcot so that bank is all I remember of him, and he's pretty cute.

The ride is a shell of what it was 20 years ago. While it was redeemed somewhat from a really horrible (so I hear) version... the original was spectacular.

And the buildings have been sitting nearly empty for many years now with only half the ride (the current footprint of the ride track is smaller than the original) and the upstairs closed off.

That's too bad. Granted I was, I'm guessing, 8ish at the time. I just remember my parents talking about how much I liked it. It's too bad it isn't as good as it use to be.

My daughters let out big groans whenever I pull out the camera- but then of course if I don't take hundreds of photos they groan when we get back home and they are not in any photos!!!
On our trip last year, one of my DD's thought she'd nip it in the bud by buying this "No Photos Please" shirt in the park- of course, right after we got there she was begging me to take her photo with all the characters that were around!!! Go figure!!

(You can click on the photo to make it bigger)

For me it's IASW. I love the theme if the ride, but I can't handle getting the song stuck in my head.:rotfl:

MK- Carousel of Progress -- but everyone then bursts out singing its a great big beautiful tomorrow.

Epcot- Ellen - once in a lifetime is enough for us.

HS---Pizza Planet ( for me) DS-- Ariel & Belle

the kids & I groan at all the people who think Universal and Magic Kingdom are related. really?? :rotfl2:
