Let's have a new photo thread - Summer Days

With summer beginning to draw to a close I'd love to see your photos of "Summer Days".

They can have been taken anywhere but must have been taken by yourself or a family member.



Here's one of our class day out to the seaside at the end of last term. Obviously I can't share photos of the children but I needed to take one snap to show what a lovely day we had. (And yes we each had a real ice cream )

Well, I suppose early June is almost summer and this photo just screams summer at me. This was taken in June 2013 at Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle.

I love Chihuly's sculptures but have only seen the one at the V&A in "the flesh" as it were.

Lovely idea for a thread!

A few weeks ago Me, my brother and sister decided to go to the National Forest Adventure Farm. We watched a pig race, got lost in the maize maze and made a scarecrow.

Here's the scarecrow field. They recently broke the world record for the largest display of scarecrows so it was pretty cool to be a part of that!

Lovely photos everyone

This photo always reminds me of summer, when mum moved into a high rise apartment, the one thing she missed was her garden, so to make up for it, she did this to her balcony
