Hey folks -
Just wanted everyone to send congratulations for my Co-worker Chris. He ran the Marathon yesterday & finished in 2:57!!! Finished 54th overall!!
WTG Chris!! You rock!!
I got to play "Bike Paramedic" for both races. It was a TON of fun. I got to do SO many things I had never done before. Bicycled all over WDW. I got to ride the monorail at 5 a.m. with my bike . Got to bicycle all over the MK at 5:30 with hardly anyone there. Got to see the sun RISE on Cinderella's Castle. Warmed my frozen hands on a steam vent from the locomotive (with my partner wondering WHT I was doing !!
).
And most importantly, I met so many motivated, inspirational people. So many were running for someone or something other than themselves. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raised $6.6 million just from pledges to their members running!! Purple vests everywhere!!
If you don't run, give a lift to those who do!
