I dont know how well this thread will go over, so Im gonna give it a shot!

Most of us know each other's username and somewhat where we live, and little tidbits. There are your mom's, mom's to be, and other clique threads, so I want to start one and have EVERYONE tell about yourself! And include one thing that is a personal fact if you wish.

I will gladly go first.

Im 34 year old female, married, no kids, 4 furbabies, business owner, and I live in Southern Alabama. I change oil, detail cars, and a locksmith. I like country music, I ride a motorcycle, love reality shows! Especially The Apprentice, and American Idol.

My favorite car is a Camaro
Color blue and orange
Food mexican.

My family includes a husband, dad, step-mom, mom, step-dad, sister and brother with 2 nephews and a great nephew.

I love to go out on the lake with our jet boat, love to ride to the beach on my bike, and of course DISNEYWORLD.

Something personal about myself---I dont have any friends, that is my one "drawback"--I dont trust people because I have been "burned" by friends one too many times.

I am a 46 yr old gay woman, single, no kids, just a cat, dog, and goldfish.
Work in the cable services industry, as a repair tech, been doing this for 18yrs.
Born in Calif (the hospital was in Ojai, but we lived in Santa Barbara), moved to Seattle when I was 4, then moved to Ohio when I was almost 13. Mom was from Ohio.

I really don't have any close family, Mom passed in 2002. Don't have any siblings.
I pretty much was and still am a shy person, so don't have many friends. Like the OP, over time I just didn't trust people. I was one of those picked on kids. When I am around a group of people, I am very quite, which tends to make me boring. But I am a great listener. Unless the topic is Disneyworld or Vegas...then they have to gag me I am more vocal on the internet.

Love animals, with favs being housecats, Tigers and horses.
Love to travel, started this in 98. Till then I had only been on a plane 1 time back in the late 60s/early 70's (when ever 747's first started flights).
Since 98, I have traveled to Key West, California, WDW, and Las Vegas many times. I live and work for my vacations .

Enjoy the outdoors, fishing, camping, walking, and most recently riding my bike.

Fav TV networks are Food Network, Animal Planet, Discovery, HGTV, TLC, etc. Rarely watch network tv anymore.

Fav all time group: ABBA, I have every cd.

Fav movie: Star Wars, and pretty much all Disney/Pixar movies. I love Cars, the animation in that one is just awesome. I want to live in Radiator Springs

I am a 36 year old married women. One son who is 15. I was born and raised in Alaska. I driven through 75% of the state of Alaska. Many times from Southeast to Fairbanks I know it like the back of my hand.

We have 3 cats, 2 girls who act like boys (rough and tumbley) and one boy who acts like a girl.

We moved to AZ to escape my family 3 years ago. My family followed me down a year ago

Hobbies include photography, long car rides (for the photography aspect of course), going to the zoo and other places here locally. I love to people watch. I can sit in a mall for hours and all I need to a lemonaide and I am good to go. Down here you see some interesting people!

I guess some might call me a loner. I have friends but I like my space.

I often come off garble what I want to say. I know what I want to say, it sounds great when I say it in my head but looks/sounds stupid once it's out.

Fav TV shows are The original Law and Order with Lennie Briscoe, all 3 CSI shows, older shows like Fraiser, Seinfield, Everyone loves Raymond, NewsRadio, and mindless shows like that. I am not much of a movie watcher (unlike my husband-- this can cause fights over the remote-- I normally win )

Fav music: Country old and new. I also love 80's music. I love asking my husband "who is this!?!" hehehe I said it last night listening to Christmas music. Drives him crazy because he is more into Opera (gag), Classical (I can some what tolerate), and stuff like Metallica (who goes from opera to Metallica???).
I also dig music like soundscapes aka elevator music

I'm 34 and I also have no friends. My two best friends are my DH and DS. Oh, I do have one friend I've known since 10th grade. We aren't super close but talk on the phone every now and again.

I've been married eight years - no kids.

A few months ago, I quit my job because I hated it! I had six years of service with the company but I quit to become a temp. That's just how much I hated the job! DH begged me to quit a long time ago because I was negative, depressed, frustrated - a totally different person. I had to get out of there!
These days I'm feeling much better, even though I'm just a temp. My happiness matters more than anything!

The only destination I love equally as much as Disney is Las Vegas. We were married in Vegas and have visited five times since. Last year we stayed at Ceasar's Palace for the first time and fell in love with it. Beautiful hotel, excellent location.

Within the next five years we are moving to Arizona - Tucson area. We're tired of the snow and cold here in the Midwest.

bicycle. I would love a motorcycle, but last time I rode on was when I was 10yrs old lol. It was a small Honda, belonged to my Mom's friends, and when we went camping with them, they showed me how to ride it...and Me and Hondi were inseperatable..

thats what I love about Key West, I can rent a scooter for a week for $75...and I ride it, even in the middle of the night

I just bought this bike in April and have rode over 130 miles on it, compared to my last bike which I had for like 10yrs, and maybe had 5 miles on it.

39 (not sure when that happened) married with two DD's (13 and 15, pics in sig line) 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses.

I love horses and it's about all I do. Either we are out trail riding, or taking DD#2 to lessons, or being a Horse show Mom. DD#1 is into cheerleading and show choir and I go to her competitions and preformances as well of course!

Live in North Carolina now, but will be moving to North Dakota in Feb...BRRRR...thanks Air Force. I was born and raised in Ohio and have lived in Texas, Alaska and Colorado before I came to NC.

I have some great friends who I met online through a local Horse message board and we get together all the time to ride/hang out/whatever.

I LOVE to Travel, favorite places are Disney (duh!!) Jamaica and Vegas. DH and I LOVE to go to Vegas although we are very boring when we get there and usually just chill in the nice room and order room service!!

Music-Country....country and more country

TV-Friends is my all time favorite, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hero's!!

Great idea everyone!

I'm 32 years old. Married for 2 years to my wonderful dh. I have a dd, 12, from a previous marriage and she keeps me on my toes that's for sure! We have 1 dog and 2 cats who also keep me on my toes! I love my furbabies just like they are my own children. Especially since we're probably not going to have any more kids actually running around so I have to spoil someone right?! I don't really have any close friends in real life. I have a few here and there but I'm very shy by nature which I guess comes off as snobby to others even though I'm not. (At least I don't think so!!)

I enjoy movies and watching television. We try to hit a movie each week provided there is something playing worth seeing. I'm a big fan of pretty much all areas of tv. I can geek out with the rest of them too! I enjoy Heroes, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who, most any reality tv, Animal Planet and the History Channel.

Musical tastes are also all over the place! I pretty much like just about anything except country or rap. Favorite group of all time is the Beatles. Followed closely by Jimmy Buffet, The Cure, Duran Duran, Metallica, Heart and 80s music. (See I told you it was all over the place!!)

I'm also a sports junkie. I love me some college sports. Any of it. LSU, of course!

I've lived in Louisiana my whole life with the exception of about 6 months in Mississippi. I love it here except I would love to expereince the changes in seasons. One day I'd like to move somewhere where we can have that instead of 11 months of hot and 1 month of cold.

Oh I'm a certified Disney nut too. Even though in recent years, I haven't been as often as I'd like!

I'm 35, single and have 2 DS and a cat. I'm pretty shy but once I warm up to you, you will have a hard time believing I'm actually shy. I don't have very many friends, but the friends I do have are all married except for maybe 2 or 3.

I would love to travel to different parts of this country and others as well. I became a first time homeowner 1 1/2 years ago and since then I have taken on the hobby of gardening. I used to think it was boring but I find it to be very relaxing. I can't wait til Feb-March so I can work in the yard. I already have it all mapped out what I want to do. I love to listen to music and collect dvd's. So far my movie collection is about 110. I love to shop for other people but find it hard to shop for myself.

I was born and raised in NYC and moved to GA 10 years ago. My mom has since followed me and we now live 10 houses down. Close but not too close as I can't see her house from my driveway.

Lets see...I'm a 25 year old female, married, no kids but 2 Pomeranians named Minnie and Sassy. I work full-time for Disney Store as an assistant manager and my husband works for Barbizon Lighting. We live in North Texas and are both addicted to crime drama...think CSI, NCIS, Law&Order. Its a sickness really...

My favorite car is a Mustang, though I drive a Cobalt and love it too.
My favorite color is Blue and I looovvee Saphires.
I love Mexican food, and cake! Cake is my weakness.

My family includes a husband, parents, sister and her soon-to-be husband, inlaws, brother-in-law and his wife, both sets of my grandparents, several aunts and uncles and cousins. Most of us live here in Texas but my sister and her fiance live in Minnesota where I grew up.

I find my happy place at Disney World and love the mountains and the ocean.

I was born in Texas but grew up in Minnesota all the way through high school. I went to Texas Tech University and have a degree in Theatre Design; I also met my husband at Tech.

Something personal about myself---I want to sing. Its my true passion. I have been invited to sing an entire concert in October of 2007 but need to find people to play behind me or its not going to work. My family wants me to audition for American Idol...but I'm sort of a whimp that way; probably better suited for Nashville Star.

I'm 31. Ok I'm 32 in a couple of weeks. Married. No kids. With 2 spoiled beagles named Roswell and Mr Peabody.

I am from MA, DH is from upstate NY near Buffalo but moved to FL when he was 13. We spent our first 3yrs together in FL then moved to MA. out of control housing prices forced us to cross the border to RI where we live now.

I work full time and I'm a full time student, so I don't exactly have a lot of free time at the moment. I'm an introvert forced to be sociable all day at work so I really like my down time to be quiet and introspective. I have one close friend who has been my friend since Freshman Biology in high school. We live an hour apart so we keep in touch mostly by emails.


I have 2 younger siblings - a sister about to graduate from UCONN and a brother that's a Nantucket police officer. My parents are still married and live 20min away from me with their pug Remy (the sun rises and sets with him according to my Mother).

I love to read. I collect antique books. I watch a lot of TV (my favorites are Lost, Heroes, and Greys Anatomy). I am a bit of a pop culture expert according to my friends. I have a head for useless trivia I guess I play a lot of computer games (Sims2 and EQII mostly). I mostly like to curl up with a good book, a cup of tea, and a snack.

I have pretty eclectic music tastes. I'm pretty much all over the map with that. I love to travel and hope to spend 2.5wks in Europe next Christmas. We're spending a week in the UK and Paris and a week in Eastern Europe (including Transylvania!).

I'm a writer but I've been horribly neglectful about that over the years. My big project for this year is researching my family tree.

My user name explains what we do most of the time. DH who is 10 years younger than me is the manager of an ice rink and plays, works, dreams, lives ice hockey. DGS is now playing hockey and DGD is a figure skater.

My hobbies are - bowling, scrapbooking, watching hockey games (had to learn this one), movies, reading and travel.

Music - I am diverse. I love anything from classical to hip hop. Not much into country, but do have some on my iPod.

Hello!

I'm 27, I have a daughter who will be 6 next month and I've been divorced for 4 1/2 years. I have a boyfriend of 1 year...and he is the most amazing man on earth. I work Monday through Thursday as a legal assistant, boyfriend is a self-employed web designer.

I enjoy travel, photography, cooking, baking, reading, taking long walks on the beach (now this sounds like a personal ad ) and watching movies. Travel is my favorite out of all of those though! I really love road trips.

I have 2 older sisters and a younger brother. All live in Massachusetts except for me (I'm not far away though, in New Hampshire).

I grew up painfully shy and didn't have many friends. But now I'm so social that it's sickening lol. I think the birth of my daughter had a lot to do with that. It's hard to remain shy when you have a child....especially a child who thinks nothing of walking right up to a stranger and trying to hold a conversation with them.
