Okay, we all love UO, BUT, if you HAD to pick a favorite park, which would you choose?? (Optional to post "why"!)

well bubba, i see you didn't list your fave.....

i always have to see the studios side first and then IOA. but then, i have always stayed at hrh and studios is closer

but then, on the 3rd day i am there, i have to do IOA first.

but this year i am staying at rph so ...........

no fair, i love them both. it depends on my mood at the time to say which is my fave.

yes, i am blonde and that is my story and i am sticking to it........

I am picking Island of Adventure only because I haven't been to Universal Studios yet. :teeth:

that's like putting a gun to my head and telling me you're going to chop off one of my ............... :rolleyes1 feet, make your choice.

I picked USF. It's hard to explain but like.. you know when you have 2 best friends... but they're different in the sense that one you feel like a brother/sister bond with.. and then the other one you hang out with because they're really fun? Well, USF is the first one for me.

For me this was easy...I have great memories that were formed on both parks, but when I first went to IOA during soft opening in 99...I was hooked. :thumbsup2 I hadn't spent alot of time at US prior to that either...but I guess so nostalgia doesn't really enter in so much here...but IOA is just so well done and the attention to detail has always amazed me, so it's really from a sensory standpoint that I say it's my favorite park! There are so many details and the theming is fantastic! I guess it's just more my "style". :hippie:

I still notice when I walk from Toon Lagoon into Jurassic park...when the music kicks in and it still gives me goosebumps! Or, it could be the wet tee shirt, but I don't think so... :rolleyes1

I'm with MsDisney on this one. I also love the theming and detail in IOA. I get the chills whenever I walk through the Port of Entry. The fact that I'm a coaster freak also helps with the choice!!

Because the last time I was at Universal Studios was 1992..no hotels OR IOA....so, never been to IOA, have nothing to compare US to!!!

(Just thought I'd stir things up a little! :stir: )

you are good at that.... :rolleyes1

i think we should start a lottery on this:
which park will bubba love the most........me thinks the studios....

The Studios are my favorite solely because I don't *do* thrill rides so there's more I see there.

Having said that, I still enjoy myself greatly at IOA, Spiderman is the best and the themeing is great :thumbsup2

Go ahead.... :rolleyes1 I double-dog dare ya! :smooth:
When we went in '92 to US, I loved it....had an awesome time! However, I do love thrill rides!!! So, even I am curious to see which I'll like better..... :confused3 ....but, if you think you'd like to "lottery it", by all means.........we will be there the end of June, so, no results till July 3rd---at the earliest!!!

wow, the end of June, that's a loooong time to wait. I took the week off because it's my daughter's spring break. I asked her if she wanted to go to UO for a couple of days this week. she said it'd be too crowded, she'd rather hang out and swim. I can't imagine waiting until June 28th...... :rolleyes1

I love them BOTH. It's really hard to choose. I have an adventurous, comic book side... AND I have a degree in theatre. I love the fact that US is a working studio, I actually work in one and it's home for me. But the 13yo boy in me, the part of me that will NEVER die, loves everything about IOA.

First of all McBean, YOU LIVE in Fla. (lucky dog!) and we go down to Fla. every year the end of June, hit the parks for a few days and then trek up to Ocala to stay with FIL for the rest of the week (FIL's birthday is July 4th AND a paid holiday for DH)...that is the reasoning behind our madness.... :teeth: :stir:

I do?, I guess that's why it's more convenient to go there. :teeth: I'm sorry, I can't help twisting the knife. 13 years is a long time, you have no idea what you're in for. just keep :bored: , 98 days will soon pass....

Studios is my favourite since I could spend a whole day just going between MIB and Mummy.

mcbean, turn on the weather channel.

your old stomping grounds is full of snow.......it came from the one that hit nebraska yesterday......

I gotta lay off the mushrooms! :rolleyes1

Very convincing indeed! :thumbsup2

I'm gonna go watch the Crying Game now...
