Let's Get The Party Started

Well last week it was binny's turn to have a pity party, and I told her today was mine. Its my bday and anniv. today and dh is in europe with the psycho boss and others. I had a nice planned out day off. Get a bagel, get a special sandwich at a deli, dinner with the 3 ds etc. Well there was no parking at the bagel store, I decided to run to the grocery store to get a cake and ice cream. I did find a really cute disney cake. O.K. It was really for a little boy. They had a pink one and a light blue one. I am one of the disney anti-princesses so pink is not my color. I get the blue cake. She asks what name should I put on it, I dont want to tell her its for me, so I say, just write happy bday in blue(my favorite color anyway.) Go to take the stuff home. Find out bottom lock on door is locked. One of the ds has done this accidently. DH has never given me a key for that lock. We never lock that lock, just use the top deadbolt. I go to ds 14 school and pull him out. Nice secretary puts my ice cream in freezer. DS 14 climbs fence. Manages to break into back door with not too much damage. Nothing that a little trip to the home depot cant fix. I call him my hero. I tell teachers I am now alexandria instead of alex from the horrible no good day book. Think some mail and b cards will cheer me up. O.K. I did get one yest from my best friend in NJ and one cousin. Today my 2 aunts, best friend in texas etc., must have forgot because there was nothing. Well its bad enough the tag fairy doesnt know I exist, but now some of my relatives act like I dont exist and since my family is deceased they were the only ones left who could remember me. Never got the sandwhich, I was too exhausted from all the driving around. Hopefully the rest of the day wont be so bad. Must remember, there is a great big beautiful tommorrow waiting at the end of every day......Sorry for the rambling. This is the best place I can think of to get cheered up right now.

Wow, thanks, you guys are the greatest. Haven't gone out to dinner yet, I asked them to all behave nicely. They were having a little scene before about reading each others im's etc. Gee.
