Let's get on a Happier Note: How many times have you been to Disney World???

To change the pace here, I thought I would post this.

So how many times have you been to Disney World?

We have gone 8 times and our 9th trip is in January. Even living in Florida for 4 years I only went to DW 1 time. I was crazy when I was younger. Now we have been every year since 1996.

We are taking our first trip in 12 days, and already planning for our second trip .

Trip number 11 coming up in December...

I've been to Disneyland twice, once as a 2 yr old and once for my Senior trip in high school!

For Disneyworld - we've been: 1979, 1983, 1984,1985, 1987, 1990, 1992, 1996, 1998,
July 2000, Dec 2000, June 2001, Dec 2001; and we'll be back for our 14th visit - Dec 2002!!!

Can't wait!!

My best guess is about 15 times since my first trip in 1972 at age 5. I can document 9 trips (including Grad Nite in 1985 ), but I took about 6 day trips in high school after moving to Florida in 1981, and I wasn't counting at that point (mostly trips to visit the "new" EPCOT Center. ) I have 3 trips planned over the next 7 months, so I'll be pushing 20 trips pretty soon.

Both Mickey76 and I have been to WDW 9 times. We've only been once together (our first trip was this past May/June). But it was the best trip because we got engaged!!! I'm sure in our life time we'll lose count of how many times we visit WDW....which is fine with me!

Have been to DL countless times as we lived in Newport Beach, CA for 3 years.

Also DL Paris once during our honeymoon in 1994!

Let's see, I'll try to remember........I remember my father taking us when it had just opened. Then we went again after that when I still lived at home......then I took my DD for the first time in 1978 when she was 5. Then I got to be a single parent and couldn't afford to take DD, but DD got to go anyway because XDH moved to Florida to escape childsupport but since I was a nice person, I let DD visit him anyway. Then my aunt & uncle moved to Orlando because my uncle was an engineer with the company that built Epcot & MGM.......so myself, DD & DBrother went to visit right after Epcot was built. A friend and I got a wild hair and drove to FL...went to Epcot & Pleasure Island. I took my DD & DGD(then 2) in 1996; we stayed with aunt/uncle and only went to MK. The last time I went was last year when I took my DGD.

I guess I've been about 7 times.
