Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

Boo to last days! Hate them.

Aww, you're not going in October?! What happened? :sad1:

I remember that story you told about MeMom :goodvibes Very cool. I need to throw a coin in there next time so the DIStown can grow, as MeMom stated:cheer2:

It's good to see other are throwing coins so that Distown continues to grow!

Just hanging out at the pool with the family can be one of the favorite activities of a trip. ::yes::

Thought you'd enjoy those pictures, MeMom! Hope you're doing better.

It was so nice to take the time to relax every day.

we always enjoy WCC try and eat there each trip..and it is on our schedule again for next trip:cool1:

I hope you have fun!

The last full day is always so tough! It's like you want to savor every moment bc it's the last day! But at the same time, you don't want to think about it being the last day! ahh!

WCC has become a family favorite for us too! I'm indifferent but my DH and my sisters DBF LOVEEEE it! Even recently we were trying to decide where to eat for dinner and my sisters DBF (a non disney fan) said WCC... Kinda hard to do when we are in PA!!!

We always take the photos with the totem pole too!

I love that you could spend the last night watching Wishes from your balcony! Soooo perfect!

Exactly. I kept telling myself, don't think about it being the last day, but it's so hard not to!

Aw, we say that a lot too! The other night was us wishing we were at the Luau at the Poly!

Boo to last days! Hate them.

I know, I'm sad too. But, we decided to wait until next year when the baby will be 2. It was a tough decision, but we think everyone will enjoy the trip better.

Maybe by the end of next year, I'll be asking MeMom to throw in another coin for me! Haha. DH thinks I'm crazy, but I want our kids close in age.

oh last days are so sad! It looks like your last day was a good one though. We love to have MK as our last day too! WCC is a great choice for dinner. So sad you won't be taking your little one this year but I'm sure the trip will be worth the wait! I hope you and the family are doing well!

It was a great last day. Stay tuned for some last minute MK before our flight!

We are doing great! I'll be posting a quick life update as well. I have some news!

:lmao: Well if she doesn't get to it by Jan 2015, i'll throw one in for ya! :thumbsup2

Aw, thanks!

Congrats on the baby!!! He is SO cute! I think it was a Christmas photo you posted of just him up close and he is precious. :yay:

I was late getting started on your TR but am happy I found it. I really enjoyed reading everything and am looking forward to your "news". Now I need to go back and read your previous TR. :surfweb:

The Grand Villa looks so awesome! I didn't realize that it opened up to the lounge. I know you are looking forward to starting and sharing your traditions with your little one. We are taking out son who just turned a year old for his first trip in May. We are really excited and are looking forward to starting some new traditions.

HI Tink!

I finally made it back onto the DIS and saw those pics you were talking about. I absolutely love the family pic you posted of the three of you. It is so beautiful.

I think you'll have such an amazing time your next trip!

And I so didn't know that story about the coin in the water at the WL! I need to try that next time I visit. ;)

~May 29, 2013 – Some last minute fun~

I’m back for the final update! I’m so sorry it’s been so long!

I mentioned previously that I had some news to share…for those of you who have read my previous TR’s might have noticed that someone was missing from this trip: Sis! At the time of the trip, she was just getting moved and settled in with her husband a few states away from us. He is in the Army, so she had to move to where he is stationed. Well, right after we had our little one, she told us her news: she’s having a baby! She’s due in May, and it is also a boy!! She came to visit for a weekend back in February, so I had a baby shower for her.

Back to the trip…last days are never fun. When the alarm went off at 6 am, I let out a big sigh. Really?! The end of the trip already?! DH and I started getting ready and soon we heard a knock on our door. Little Guy wanted to come hang out with us one last time. I’m getting sad just thinking about it right now! We were soon all packed, and Dad called down for a luggage cart. The guy who came with the cart could tell we were all sad. He tried cheering us up, but it wasn’t doing much help. DH and I were not leaving yet, but since everyone else was driving, they took our main suitcases with them so we didn’t have to deal with them at the airport. We helped them get the car loaded..and then it was time to say goodbye. I think we all cried; well except Little Guy.

After waving them bye as they drove off, DH and I headed over to get our boarding passes. It was so convenient! We gave them our carry-on bags and headed back up to our room for one last look at our beautiful view. And as you might remember from past TR’s, I hate last days so much that I don’t even take pictures that day. I’m weird! We did a quick check in everybody’s rooms to make sure nothing was left behind. Then, we were ready to head out for some last minute fun! We said goodbye with tears in our eyes as we let the room door shut behind us.

It was so quiet riding in the elevator without Little Guy!! Once we arrived at the 5th floor, we headed over to get on the monorail. I had one thing in mind: TONGA TOAST! Once at the Poly, I grabbed us a table while DH ordered for us. I had Tonga Toast and he had a croissant. Both were good, as usual. Being at the Poly, just the two of us, made us feel like it was our honeymoon again. We talked some more about how fun that trip was, how fun this trip was, and how fun our next trip will be with our little one.

After we ate, I was on a mission: MAGIC KINGDOM TIME! We hopped on the monorail and made it in the park right at 9! We took our time walking down Main Street. Once we made it to the Castle, we decided to walk through and head to the Haunted Mansion. There was seriously no one over there! We walked right on!

I really wanted to get over to the new Fantasyland area one more time, so we headed over to look in “Belle’s gift shop” as I like to call it. I was so sad we were leaving soon. And just as I started to get tears in my eyes, it started pouring!! We were over near where Snow White’s Scary Adventures used to be, so we huddled under Storybook Treats until it let up. That took forever! I ended up sitting on the ground with my sweatshirt on. DH thought it was the perfect time to take a picture on his phone. There I am, big and pregnant, on the ground..sad because it’s our last day, mad because it’s raining..all while wearing a zip-up hoodie that was too small for me to zip up! I was a mess. I laugh about it now, but at the time, I did not think it was very funny! I should’ve tried that hoodie on before we left home!

Once it started to let up, we made our way to the People Mover while dodging puddles. It was finally nice to be on a ride! Since we were over that way, we decided to hop on the train at the new Fantasyland station. We ended up riding it all the way around back to where we started!

I really wanted to get DH to Be Our Guest for lunch since Mom and I loved it a few days earlier. Once we got back there, we could see the line was crazy long! So, we decided to head back to the Poly and one last meal at Capt.Cook’s before heading back to the Contemporary. I was evidently so sad that I didn’t write down what we ate! As we said goodbye to the MK at the end of Main Street, we said “See you next time with him!” and rubbed my belly. That was the only exciting part about leaving.

I’ll save you the boring details of the rest of the day. It can be summed up as this:
-We ate at the Poly and said bye to there.
-Hung out at the Contemporary until ME picked us up at 1:50.
-Made it home later that night.

I will say that the ME video for when you’re leaving is so sad! It made me cry! I will also say that we loved our first ME experience and will be using it again!
Thank you to all my readers for sticking with me. I know it was awhile in-between updates. I cannot wait to share our next trip, which will probably be next year. Until then, I will be following along on all of your trip reports. Even though I may not comment all the time, I am there reading!

What a wonderful trip report! I have really enjoyed reading along. It is going to be fun planning your next trip with your little one. Congrats again on the baby boy!

Great trip report! Even though I didn't post often, I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for sharing! I look forward to reading your next report with your little guy!

Oh, Tink, I know just what you mean about last days, they are just dreadful/depressing/horrible!!! :( I do all these little things before I leave to make coming back to reality less awful... Pre-tearing the Disney desk calendar days off so I don't have to be reminded of how happy I was before leaving for example. ;) The only thing that ever helps is knowing that I'll be back :goodvibes

So sad on the last day. Glad you were able to have a relaxing morning.

I hope you get back sooner rather than later but you will be back!!!!:goodvibes

So funny that you don't like to take any pictures on the last day... I'm the complete opposite, I feel like I need to take a million photos on the last day so that I don't forget anything!!

It was great to read your report!

Hi there! Of course, me and my perfect timing... I find your TR on the day that you write your last update. :rotfl: I haven't been on the Dis in months, and I finally got back on a couple of days ago. I just read through your whole TR over 2 days and it was so fun to get caught up with your life.

Congratulations on your baby boy! He is so adorable and you can tell from the pictures that he is a happy little guy. I'm so impressed that you did as well as you did on the trip. WDW is not easy when your are NOT pregnant! I'm glad that you had one last trip before baby was born. Traveling is completely different with kids. Even though it is wonderful, it's never the same. How old will he be when you plan to go on his first trip there? Dylan was 21 months and I absolutely loved that trip.

I was wondering how old Little Guy is now? He looks so big! Dylan is 6 now and is in Kindergarten. They still remind me so much of each other. Dylan LOVES Perry and that back pack would have been something that he picked too!

I'll wrap it up. Just wanted to say hi and tell you I'm so happy for you. :goodvibes

Congratulations to your sis! Those two little boy cousins will enjoy getting into mischief together as they grow up. :)

I have been known to let a tear or two escape on the last day. :sad1: The good-bye video is not quite as exciting as the hello video, but it is nice that they make the attempt to make the leaving easier. ;)

Disney World is going to be more exciting than ever when you go back with your amazing little boy! ::yes::

The last day is definitely bittersweet and sad. I was feeling sad for you just reading along. I think it strikes all of us on the DIS the same way. It is just so hard to leave.

I think you guys really had a great morning though with your visits to the Poly and getting a few last rides in at the MK. Your next trip will definitely be one to make a lot of new, fun memories. As much as you enjoyed your honeymoon trip, I'm sure the next one will be even more special. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness congratulations to your sister! Aw that will be fun having lots of boys around...speaking of that, I need to update my TR...

You were for reals when you said 'no pictures on the last day' :rotfl2: There really were no pictures! :lmao: I find that I actually take more pictures on the last day, because i'm trying to take every single second in.

Thanks so much for doing this TR and i'm very much looking forward to your next TR with your new little man!:goodvibes :)

I have no idea why I'm like that. I guess I'm trying to take it all in one last time.
