Let the Concert season begin!!!

OK - I admit it - I have two obsessions: Disney & Chris Isaak. I've got Disneyland reservations for early June & one pair of tix to a Chris Isaak concert & I'll probably go to a couple more of his concerts later in the summer.

So - are you now buying tickets for summer concerts? Who are you going to see?

I have tickets for Dave Matthews Band for both his shows in Camden. I'm on the lookout for other concerts to go to.

My nitwit sister and I (gemmie here on the DIS) are off to see BNL and Guster next Weds in Lowell, MA.

I will be seeing Jimmy Buffet in August, once the city of Boston decides whether or not to let him play at Fenway, or keep him in Mansfield at the Tweeter Center.

I am hoping to go to Sting, and there will probably be a few others.

Well, we are going to Prince in June.

Going to try for Van Halen tickets on Saturday.

Would love to see Phil Collins (on sale Monday)

Tim Mc Graw-really want to go but it is 4th of July weekend and we always go camping.

Kenny Chesney/Rascal Flatts--want to go really bad but NOBODY will go with me!!!!!

I know there will be a few more to pop up between now and the start of summer....but those are the ones so far!

ooh where is Live playing? I can't get enough of them.

This has been a really lame year for concerts so far. I haven't been to ANY. I'm going to see Damien Rice in Boston and Montreal next month, though. And if anyone on the DIS knows who that is, I'll give you a pickle.

I'd like to see Guster, too. Too bad it's a couple of weeks early.

We're seeing Blues Traveller in July. Can't wait! We usually see 4 or 5 concerts each summer, we have 3 different wonderful outdoor venues to choose from in this area. Just haven't decided beyond Blues Traveler who we will see.

All I know is that Jimmy Buffett better add Detroit on that roster! I have a feeling he will and I have seen him at both venues so it does not matter where he performs. Does anybody know what the Today show Friday concert schedule is??

Another Chris Isaak fan here. I saw him last year in Boston, what a great concert that was. He is not only musically talented, he made proper Bostonians laugh hysterically.

We actually went to see the person who was opening for him.. Lisa Presley. It was her first tour, she was nervous but I thought did a decent job, but when Chris came out the place was rocking.

If he comes back to Boston, I am there.

I got floor seats / 4th row for the July 4th Philly show! Madison Swquare garden sold out too quickly! And I got the tickets through Ticketmaster this time. Last Time I went through a broker and paid through the nose! I'm going to try and see her here in NY too.

We always see Pat Benatar each summer. It's like a tradition for us! We sometimes see someone at the PNC Bank arts center too.

I usually don't go to many more concerts in the summer than any other time of year. We have a lot of great indoor places to go, so I just go when I hear someone I like will be playing. Since the beginning of the year, I've been to three concerts already (Enrique Iglesias, Clay Aiken/Kelly Clarkson, and Weird Al) and I went to the symphony when Howard Shore was guest conducting the music from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I will be going to see Josh Groban in just over a week, and I hope to see Clay Aiken again when he plays at the Ohio State Fair in August (tickets go on sale next month). If I hear/see anything else pop up, I'm sure I'll go

Well, since we couldn't connect with our Harry Connick Jr. tickets (AAAAARGH!!!!!!!!) Tanya & I are trying to get box seats for Prince! Then maybe Korn later on this year, but seeing snoop dog & the rest of the bands is making me think twice about it
