This is my first try on a PTR, but I am SO excited about our trip and I knew people here were the only ones even vaguely interested (and that includes my family).

First, the cast of characters.

Me, Austin, stay at home mother and wife to Kevin, who is a traveling salesman. Here’s us at Palo on our recent cruise:

Finn, who will be almost four on our trip. We went to Disney for the first time right before he turned three and he absolutely loved it. Enjoying Pirate Night:

And, finally, Rowen. She will be almost one when we go. Right now she is seven months, and is already a cruise veteran:

Now that we're all introduced, let the planning begin!

Here’s what we know so far:

We are so lucky to be getting to go on this trip. We’ve never stayed at a Disney resort or done the dining plan. We are only able to do it on this trip because my husband won an award for being one of his company’s top ten salesmen (out of 400) and we got money to put towards a three night vacation. We decided Disney because I feel like it’s the only place that both the kids and I feel like we had a fun time and a vacation.

We will be at Disney world from Monday, September 17 until Thursday, September 20. After doing a lot of research we are staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and have made the following ADRs (we have never eaten at any of these places):

September 17, 2012

Restaurant: 50’s Prime Time Café
Located: Hollywood Studios
12:15 PM

Restaurant: Chip n’ dale’s Harvest Feast at The Garden Grill
Located: Epcot
5:50 PM

September 18, 2012

Restaurant: Cape May Café
Located: Beach Club Resort
8:05 AM

Restaurant: Kona Café
Located: Polynesian Resort
12:30 PM

September 19, 2012

Restaurant: Teppan Edo
Located: Epcot - Japan pavilion
12:30 PM

Restaurant: Cape May Café
Located: Beach Club Resort
5:45 PM

September 20, 2012

Restaurant: Chef Mickey’s
Located: Contemporary Resort
7:05 AM

Restaurant: Crystal Palace
Located: Magic Kingdom
12:10 PM

We are also going to MNSSHP on Tuesday night.

I still have a LOT of planning to do and will need some advice, I am sure.

What a beautiful family you have! You'll love the Villas, they are our favourite too! Any costume ideas for the party? Looking forward to hearing more!

Thanks so much! I am off to read your PTR. :) I think we are going to use the same pirate costumes we used for the cruise, although I am a little worried about the baby being too hot.

So there's a whole getting there, weekend before section of the trip that has to be planned, but I am skipping ahead to our first Disney day. Here's what I have so far:

Monday, September 19, 2001 Hollywood Studios

1) Toy Story Mania twice (grab fast passes)
2) The Great Movie Ride
3) Snack break
4) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (using rider swap)
5) Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground until lunch
6) Lunch: 50’s Prime Time Café, 12:15 PM, Confirmation # 420811177823
7) Star Tours: The Adventures Continue with rider swap

At this point I think the baby and I will go and check into the hotel. Maybe with Kevin and Finn too so everyone can nap. If they stay they will probably to TSM again, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Pixar Pals parade, Lights, Motor, Action Extreme stunts show
