Okay how does this sound for all of you..... Lesson: IF you want a seasonal scrap item buy it right away when you see it!!! I just saw the Spring Stacks a week ago and liked it a lot, but wasn't sure. Went back to get it the other night and they were all on clearance. Yay!!! but I wanted the patterned paper pack and NOPE all gone. I've tried two stores now. My dad might try one too but lesson learned.

Second that lesson - especially over here where you're lucky to see anything at all

There IS one thing more annoying than seeing something you bought full price on clearance - seeing it sold out before you get to add it to your stash

MLP! That is always the case.. buy now or you'll never find it again..
I have learned that lesson many, many, many a time.. That is why DH has now started following me around the scrapbook store.. When I start debating.. he knows.. pick it up or I'll want it and there will be none.. I head out of the store.. and than notice he isn't right behind me..because he is still in line paying for my items!!

That happens to me every time, too! Was it the spring stack at Joann's? If so, I think they still have it online, or they did yesterday!

That's why its on the scrappers rules! Buy it when you see it! You can always swap it later if you change your mind, but if its gone its gone!

I so know what you mean. I have a pile of graduation stuff... dd won't graduate til gee 2009 (and that's just from 8th grade) but I'll have the stuff. maggie

(of course then the question becomes, will I remember where I put it? )

Either swap it out or put it in a garage sale! I was really surprised how fast my sb stuff went at mine last weekend.

Back on topic- I have had this happen to me a few times also. Especially with patterned paper and cardstock. I used to only buy 2 sheets of each color/pattern. A couple of times I found that I needed one more sheet and when I went back, they didn't have it anymore. Now I buy in 3s.

Scrapping is so trendy - you almost always have to buy something when you see it or it disappears. I keep telling DH that that's the reason why I have so much stuff in my scraproom - "Ummm, yeah, that's why I just spent another $100 this month. Scrapping is trendy, Hon, and I've got to keep up with the latest stuff."

Thanks Lewdyan!! Clearly I missed your post, but I think I may have found one. If they put the right item on hold I found one in a store about 30 minutes from me. I'll find out tonight. Thank you thought that was a very sweet offer.
