First, I just learned a lesson-if there's an item you want to try at a restaurant, go next time you're at WDW, don't think "When I get around to it". Because then when you "get around to it", about 5-6 trips later, that item that sounded so good may be gone! That's what just happened to me at Ale and Compass when I finally got around to making an ADR for my next trip. There was an item, either pancakes or waffles, with a caramel apple sauce. I thought I kept track of menu changes through different websites, but missed this. So now is there anything else you'd recommend at Ale and Compass? Not the buffet-my appetite's not that big.

I'd always wanted to try that edible candle thing they had at Le Cellier, and never got a chance :(

I used to see a lot of people rave about the dark chocolate waffle, but I've never tried it myself. My favorite is the shrimp and grits!

Choc Waffles ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ omg delicious !!!! Just had them last month so good !! Get the buffet so worth it !!

Oh nooooo! It used to be the French toast and they changed it to ‘seasonal’. That is a pretty recent change because I went there a few months ago and it was still there. It was my favorite and the only thing I ate. 💔💔💔 Sorry, I can’t recommend anything else. My husband always gets the American breakfast so nothing adventurous there.

I see the "Seasonal french toast". Does that have the apple-caramel sauce?
