Lesser quality from Disney Store Online

The last couple orders I placed have been sent back due to it not working or quality was poor(on the cheap side).
I paid good money for these things and what I'm getting is junk.
Very frustrating to have to send back and trying to get a refund time spent on the phone, then waiting in line at UPS .

It seems like the quality of their product is dripping .

To me Disney Store branded merchandise has always been lesser quality than Disney Parks branded merchandise.

So generally I only buy Disney Parks merchandise from the Disney Store website.

I bought my husband the red Mickey "varisty" jacket from the on line Disney Store. I bought an XL and it looked more like a kids size. I thought they sent me the wrong one. Couldn't find a size anywhere on the garment. I wouldn't call it a varsity jacket. Thin/Flimsy material. I exchanged it for an XXL and it was larger but not by much (especially when compared to his Disney Parks varsity jackets). Decided to keep it because he can wear it on the less cooler days but still disappointed. I remember when we used to get the catalog in the mail. Much better items and better quality too. I also wish the on line store would do a better providing more or the park merchandise. There were several spirit jerseys I wanted to get. Online, only a child size version was offered. And, of course, saw another varsity jacket on a YouTube video that I know my husband would like.

Honestly the entirety of the product lines overall have declined in my opinion over the last 20 years -- looking at items such as ornaments, clothing and stuffed animals that came from the park (as well as ye olde mall Disney Store) in the mid to late 90's compared to now is miles apart. The last couple of times we have been to the parks I haven't bought a thing. I have a parks mug from 2019 (that year was the "Passport" theme merch) that I typically hand wash that is already all scratched up and beat to heck, whereas I have a Lion King mug from the Disney Store in the late 90's and it's still perfect.

I was told years ago by a parks CM , back when there were Disney Stores in most malls, that the Disney Store Merch and Disney Parks merch are two different companies and that Disney Store merch will always be lower quality that Disney parks merch. Im sure its the same now, when its all online.

Even in parks you have to try on jackets, at least the normal sweatshirts (not the spirit type big ones). Last trip the adults in our group all needed 1-2 sizes larger than usual & our larger adult couldn’t fit his (he’s not overweight but tall & broad shoulders). At least the quality was still good.
