Less Than One Week Left!!!

We leave on the 15th and I feel like all this planning I've done isn't enough

I know! There are still 13 days left, and we keep telling each other things we can't forget.

We also leave on the 19th for our first stay at CR and AKL. I can hardly wait. We are in the processing of moving and don't have room in the new house for a tree this year, but I did buy a huge jingle bell wreath for the front door and it looks great. We did our cooking at Thanksgiving, so we will have a small dinner on Christmas Day back at home, after the Disney Christmas Day Parade.

HOw fun so many of us here are headed the same place about the same time.
Flying out of Chicago Ohare her. I am still trying to get ouver we are leaving here in such a short amount of time. I have no idea why I can not get over it, maybe its been planned for so long seems like it should still be another month away. I am really really excited as much as the kids , maybe more so

When I did the first post, I never imagined this many people would jump on board! This is great to see so many of us going. We've been planning since July of 2006, so I completely understand. We don't even have kids, and we are definitely more excited that some kids I've seen who are going to WDW!

We will be there till the 22nd!! Im soooooo excited!!! 14 days!!!

Well I must tell you I am actually live in WI but we are driving in on the 17th staying at a hotel for our early flight the next day.
I used to live in the northwest burbs when i was in school.

Ohh, that's still cool!!! Also, any hotel in Downtown Chicago should be good. Just make sure the hotel is in a good area. Some areas of Chicago are kinda scary!!

TODAY WE'RE FINALLY IN SINGLE DIGITS!!! We only have nine more days. We can actually look online at the weather forecast and see at least our first day there. I am so excited!

No, you're not going crazy. Originally on my trip report, we were going to the AKL. But, in all the time we've spent planning (we officially began in the summer of '06), we have changed resorts several times. At times, it's been the AKL, POR, BCR and ultimately CSR. So, that's where we'll be. I see you'll be at the AKL. Too bad we won't be there, too. We would have had more of a chance of bumping into each other.

We only have 9 more days to go too! I can't believe how many people are arriving around the same time...I can't wait! Now that the term is over and I don't have any more papers to write I can concentrate on Disney!

EDIT: I just read through all of the posts, and noticed the flight plans people have...we're connecting in Newark too! I think our flight leaves around 9 am from NJ.

8 and a half days for me. Wo Hoo, I can hardly wait. We got the suitcases out yesterday and I have been doing mega amounts of laundry to get ready to pack. On top of packing for the trip, we are having to pack to move out of our old house, too, so that is why I have endless amounts of laundry. I will spend next Saturday running around for haircuts and last minute purchases.

Come on December 19. We are planning on leaving about 5:30am EST and hopefully will arrive at CR around 1:00pm EST.

oh, I better find some time to work on my Lime Green Mickey's

We have a lot of laundry, too! We began tonight and our working our way through it. We've been doing so much other stuff, that laundry kept getting pushed aside. Now that we've started doing it, it's great to put some of it directly into our luggage! How soon after you return from WDW are you moving? Two major events! That's awesome.

I'll be on the lookout for all the lime green Mickey's! We won't have any, but I'll happily introduce myself to anyone who has one on.

Count me in too! My cousin and I will arrive at AKL in nine days. Styaing until the 26th. It will be my first trip over christmas. I can't believe it is so close. Whoopee! I have to pick up my dry cleaning because I don't iron Now am trying to decide what to bring... I wan't thinking really warm clothes until it hit freezing here in Austin. Now I am thinking bring a heavy coat just in case..... I hate being cold.

I hope to get to make at least a few LGMH's, but probably won't, maybe in the car ride, no will probably sleep. I know I will make some the night before. I get home around midnight and I know I won't be able to sleep, since we leave at 5:30am, so I will make them then

Definitely pack for warm and cold. Better to be prepared than miserable. We've never gone anywhere over Christmas, let alone WDW! So, we're excited, too.

I wish you well with all the moving. I'm going to have a hard time sleeping Monday night, but I have to go into work for part of Tuesday, so I better get some sleep. Do what you can with the LGMH's, but remember that you can always make them, once you arrive. If I got home at midnight and was leaving at 5:30, there is now I could sleep.
