Less than a week to go...

I'm so excited, we fly next Tuesday morning, just one week and we'll be on our way.

I'm a first-time Disney visitor, it'll be my first time on a long flight and my first time in the US...

We're going as a large group (7 people) and a friend has organised/planned most of it as she's been many times before - I've let go and will bow to her disney wisdom.
We're getting travel insurance sorted, dollars are bought, estas to be completed this week, nearly packed, and I'm getting nervous and excited.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice/tips they're willing to share. Everythings already planned, but if there is a book about Disney I could read on the plane, or things to spot on our way round the parks, tips for the long flight etc....

Have a fantastic trip - big envy here. You will be there for the Halloween decorations and the Food and Wine festival which we love. Out of 8 trips we have been there six times for those celebrations!

No tips except pace yourself and don't expect to get everything on your wishlist done.

Another great website is Allears.net and my favourite book available over here is the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (will take you longer than your holiday to read it all though ). I also love Passporter but you have to order that from USA so too late to get it now.

We'll be at MNSSHP, Universal's HHN, Food and Wine Festival and at all the parks.
I'll have a look at both websites, and the book you recommended. I really love the stories behind the parks, hidden mickeys etc.
