Less than 90 days and nothing!

Now is the time that I should be making my PS plans and I have done nothing. We are not big breakfast eaters so there goes the morning ps. I will be traveling there in Feb. with my DH, DD 3 and DS 5. There are too many choices and I am overwhelmed. I need help. We will be staying at the WL for 6 nights. Any ideas would be great. Is there any way that we could just wing it? We will be there 1/30-2/5.

Seriously, you might want to try BOMA, Crystal Palace for lunch (good luck), 50's Prime Time Diner, Chef Mickey's (good luck), Hollywood & Vine for the variety (with or without the FP), and Cape May. Try Akershus for a late breakfast (lunchtime) since they don't serve lunch anymore. It should be the staples plus some added extras.

OK, first things first. Since you're staying at WL, get PS for Whispering Canyon for dinner.

Next, get PS for Chef Mickey's. Kids'll love that one.

Crystal Palace and Cape May breakfast is also a good choice for character dining.

What kind of foods does your family like to eat? In my family, that kind of determines the PSs we make.

We are not big breakfast people. I am not a big buffet eater either. I would like to keep all our ps kid friendly. Wow, I didn't realize that I was so fussy. I guess dinners are important to us. Ohana seemed like fun but I have heard so many bad reviews. We have never been to a character events.My husband is into simple foods and he loves Italian food and filet mignon.

The Garden Grill is great for a character dinner, and it is served family style not buffet. Also, LTT is another character meal that is served family style. I'll try to think of some other good non-buffet restaurants that are great with kids. I'm with you, I don't care for buffets either. I'm not a huge fan of family style, but I definitely think that GG is better than most.

We ate at ohana with our three kids 9, 6 and 4...we loved the food and the kids had a great time! We ate dinner there and they are very family oriented (hence the name)...they had all kinds of fun activities for the kids. I recommend it.

A couple more sit-down restaurants that are great for kids is, San Angel Inn, and Restaurant Marrakesh. While neither are my first choice there, I did enjoy both. If you go to SAI, be sure to tell them you'd like to wait for a table where you can see the volcano & boats. We were seated in a back corner, and it kind of takes away from the experience if the only thing you have to look at is people going in and out of the restrooms. Also, at RM I would see if I could get a seat on the floor. We were seated on the upper level, and while it was a great experience, they interacted much more with the people on the floor. Enjoy!

I don't know why the previous poster said "good luck" about getting priority seating for Crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys? You should be able to call them even the week before you go and get a ressie, they are not something special like Cinderella's breakfast that you have to nail down at 7am 90 days before you want it. I loved both places! Great food and character interaction !
