Less than 60 days out, what is best rate going?

We have AP's, but since it is less than 60 days before we want to go, the AP Best Rate program is not an option. Does anyone know if I can call and get any type of discount for such a short time frame? We are thinking of the week after Thanksgiving. We also are AAA members. Any sugggestions or info is appreciated. Thanks!

I booked with Magical Memories Travel had they have a group rate for the end of Nov/beginning of Dec. You can check with them to see if they have any more availability.

pooh ~ I booked room only. I have an AP so I didn't want to have to by myself a ticket, plus, I think it was still a better deal at the group rate I received.

If that doesn't pan out for you the next best thing is AAA rate.

Oh and there is a room only discount out now for check-ins that end just prior to or around Thanksgiving. I know it isn't good for checkins the Sunday after Thanksgiving as that is when we check in. Its on mousesavers.com

Then AAA would be your next best route if the group discount thing doesn't work.

I think the Swan and Dolphin is still available for the Saturday after Thanksgiving but you need to have AAA, teacher, gov emp, nurse or AP to get a good rate. The savings makes it well worth joining AAA especially if you are staying for a few days.

Thanks! The AAA rate at the WDW resorts usually isn't much but hadn't thought of the Swan & Dolphin. I'll give it a shot.

I have tried S/D for tree different trips we have planned (10/20-10/22/05;12/25-12/31/05; and 4/1-4/8/06) and teacher, AAA and AP rates were NOT available for any of them. We have AAA for the October trip at All Stars, rack rate at AKL for the December trip, and haven't made a final decision on the April trip yet...I know time is running out on that one.

S/D could give us a discount on one night at most for any of those trips. One trip there was a 100% occupancy on one of the nights. Seems like confernce travel has really picked up again and their rooms are really getting booked.
