Less than 30 days!!

You are going to be fine. If you can try and keep your mind occupied as much as possible it will be less torture for you. Sometimes the worst is sitting waiting for whatever it is that you are afraid of (in your case, perhaps sitting waiting to board). Try keep yourself busy in Duty Free. Get yourself a nice little treat too while you are at it. You really awed me in all the detail you have put into your planning. You thought to start threads and ask about things I have never thought of asking before and which were very helpful to me. I am sure I am not the only one. You have put so much work into this trip and you deserve it to be absolutely amazing. I truly hope it exceeds any expectations you might have. :goodvibes

Just a little note on the side: I know you worry about what you may have forgotten. My take on this is that first timers are the least likely to forget anything. It is when you have done it enough that you stop planning certain aspects and preparations to the same degree that you are more likely to forget.

Ah thank you, that is really kind and sweet

2nd August for us!

I absoluely can't wait this year! :yay: This is the first year that I really do not have that nervous feeling. I think I am all organised and I know I can get anything I need over there.

I still need to get my last bits of currency and let DD get hers.
Also need to ring credit card company to tell them we will be out of the country.

I think we are there - oh apart from snacks and felt tips for the plane.

:cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay:

Just think what we will all be doing in one month!!!

we fly the 3rd, so this time nextmonth we ll be waking up in deerfield:goodvibes
hoope to be checking into ssr :goodvibes at about 10,

OMG you are right - sounds silly but never looked

Since first trip, and probably have no idea what I am doing anyway :lmao: am intending to take my camera and do more of a "food report" that is the idea anyway, do not think I have the creative writing to do a normal report, think mine would be :

Well went on this ride
Then that ride
Then this ride
Then food :lmao::lmao:

To be honest in one way feel quite sad, the holiday has come round so quick since I booked my ADRs, and I know we will not go again as a family of 8, and probably not at all ..... sometimes I feel the anticipation of a holiday is better than the holiday, as once you go on holiday it is over so quickly - does that sound silly?? I think if we could go any time of year, we would go again, but with one sister being a teacher, the other working at a school, we have to go in school holidays

I fly from manchester on 5th august i am sooooo unorganised compared to everybody on here. I have only just found this website but better late than never i suppose. We are staying for 21 days, me my husband and our 2 boys who are 7 and 5. We have got tickets for disney world but thats it. Done ESTAs and got hotel for night before we fly at manchester airport but regarding clothes and everything havent even started and i really need to do an itinary of how to spend our days, anybodys advice would be great!!!!!!!!!We want to go to seaworld, aquatica, gatorland, lowry zoo in tampa, universal studios, as well as disney. Does anybody recommend anything else, thanks in advance i just want this holiday to be the best one the boys can ever have, and ourselves of course but we know how good it is as we went on our own in 2002 but i imagine it has changed a bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't need word to do a report. Do a picture one. All you need is titles and they don't even need to be sentences ;) Besides, didn't you put a shop assistant into a state of shock with the camera you got for your DH that had to have a food setting? We need to know it works! ;)

Anticipation of anything often feels bigger than the event. Enjoy your last part of the run-up. I think you will find 3 weeks doesn't feel as short as you think it will. When we went for 16 days I was sad to leave .... okay I cried on the plane before doing a quick budget :rolleyes1. I could have spent an extra night or two there, but from a realistic perspective it is a BUSY holiday and you are generally pretty tired by the end of it.

Can we all join the dance too? Flying on the 2nd August!:cheer2::dance3::banana::cool1::wizard::yay::rockband::dancer:party:

ESTA completed, tickets for Disney and Universal, Travel Insurance, holiday clothes, just waiting to get some currency watching the exchange rate with interest:worship:

Hope everyone enjoys their forthcoming trip as much as we are going to do:cheer2:

We fly the 2nd as well, from Manchester to Orlando, I've got my disney countdown chain and it's getting smaller :jumping1:

At the moment I think I'm more excited than the kids. Only the packing left to do :cheer2::jumping1::jumping1:

I'm so excited for you all going in August because I know there will be lots of trip reports and photos of food on the board to keep me going til October! :rotfl:

I'm with you on that one - I had been thinking along similar lines the other night. On that basis, I wonder why I never travelled in October before! :rotfl:
