the countdown has entered the last 30 days.
We now have 25 days till we arrive for a restful, relaxing stay at the fort.

Our fifth wheel is in for warranty work. we learned a lesson when we purchased our trailer last winter. Consider where you will need to take it for factory authorized work. Our nearest service center is 1 1/2 hours away. It takes a full day to transport it, check it in and return home. Not the worst but not the most convenient either. My wife and kids love it so that makes it all worth it. Happy Wife= happy life.

We pick it up on the 2nd of November. I'll give it a full wash and wax and prep for a 2200 mile round trip.

My kids are in charge of the Christmas display. They know how much space they'll have to pack supplies in. It is fun watching my DD8 and DS10 plan, gather and try if their plan works. my son seems to think he'll be able to stow away some extra things in some secret compartments.

I will again attempt a Live trip report. my previous two attempts have been cut short by illness while at the fort. At least I know where the nearest medical center and pharmacy is; however, I have no idea how to post pics. I have 25 days to learn.

our magic bands just arrived. resort id's in hand, feels like we are practically checked in.

Best of luck with the on time return of the trailer and have a great trip. I just picked up my new 5th wheel less then 3 weeks ago. So far out of 2 weekends of use the only issue is my fridge stopped running on electric. I have yet to look into why, but if it turns into warentee work, then so be it.

Thanks
The good news is all repairs are complete. I don't have time until the 2nd to dedicate a full Saturday to make the pickup.

Oh even better if you are ready for pickup. Mine performed perfectly well until I went to set it up for this weekend and the fridge would only kick on propane. I shut it off and have not had time to go check beyond the obvious (circuit breaker wasnt tripped.) Tonight I plan to head out with test meter in hand, verify there is power at the outlet, check the fuses on the unit and go from there.

I will still use it this weekend, just means I need to make sure I have a full propane load.

We are at 21 days 16 hours til Drive-off with the Fifth wheel in Tow...

Looking forward to the Christmas Party on the 14th!

Have even modified the Mickey Lamp Post with Red and Green Bulbs - Maybe need to add some more touches to it too...

Have a magical trip. Love to see your TR. popcorn::

I hope you have a restful vacation. Because it's so easy to enjoy the outdoors at the Fort as compared to other resorts, I think the Fort is the most relaxing resort for a WDW vacation. In other words, if you want to be in the parks every day (not that there's anything wrong with that), you'd miss the magic of the Fort.

If you can manage a trip report, great. If not, tell us about your visit when you get home. Remember, you're on vacation. ;)
