Less than 2 hours!

So fun to read bits of 'right there, right now', I missed that you were heading to your own birthday celebration. :cheer2:Hope 'Many Returns of the Day' last all through your trip and beyond!

We did stay at KOA Fredericksburg, VA. However, left CT at 4 PM Friday afternoon, so could not go further... Was after midnight as it was. However, thinking of Crossroads for the ride home.

Excellent! Continued fun and safe travels!

First visit ever to Blizzard Beach today (and my first date with wife and first annual pass occurred in 2000!) I think it's a great water park! Left there about 3 and got ready for Ohana dinner...was soo good (but my stomach was bursting!). At EPCOT for a quick Soarin', Test Track, and a couple stores. Bummed that tomorrow is last day before heading home to fall in CT. My apologies to all those that love the seasons, winter sports, etc. IMO, anything other than summer, late spring or early fall is crap!

It really has been gorgeous this week! The leaves are starting to change and we've been having those great cool nights that are "good sleeping weather." IMHO, returning to fall is much better than returning to the bleak winter doldrums...which is exactly what we'll get to do in a few months :(

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Spent last day at Magic Kingdom before returning for a little time to slide at the pool followed by sing-a-long and then Hallowishes and water pageant at the beach.

Overall not too bad on the rainy season week. One afternoon of heavy rain that lasted hours, but rest of time worst we dealt with was done sprinkles or short lived showers.

Drive home was to Carolina Crossroads night one and home night two. Glad I reserved a spot. It is easy to pull in to those overnight express spots at night. When I got home and was getting out to disconnect my sway bar to back in, the ball had completely sheared off the plate that is attached to the side of the tongue, so it was just hanging on the ball on the hitch. I only tighten the tension bars until there is no thread showing, so I can't imagine it was so tight that the bars didn't move resulting in the shear. I can only think that perhaps (?) on one of the large bumps/dips on highway was to much vertical motion and sheared it off? I am not even sure how long it was off. Didn't notice it a stops earlier in day.

Other than that, bathroom faucet started leaking through middle hole of mount (the one you would use if you had a single fixture type sink) whether I turned on hot water or cold water...must be something goofed up inside of fixture. Noticed it via puddle on floor near toilet. Fortunately didn't happen until night before leaving Fort, so we were only restricted to kitchen sink for trip home.

Few other items to get to, so it's time for repairs and winterizing :(

Think I need to live further south to further the camping season.

After the fact just for fun pics...
