Less expensive TS restaurants

Which TS restaurants tend to be cheaper meals? Ignore beverages. Ignore desserts. Not counting eating appetizer for entree. Just a basic meal. No brekfast--only lunch of dinner. If trying to do a budget trip and you'd like to include a few TS meals, which would be best?

Plaza at MK
Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch at MK
Sci-Fi or 50's at HS
Via Napoli at Epcot

For lesser expensive meals, I think of the following:

Rose & Crown, Epcot
50s Prime Time, HS
Sci-Fi Dine In-HS
ESPN-Boardwalk
Chefs de France (lunch)-Epcot
Plaza Inn-MK

I'm sure there are more...

Also Beaches and Cream is quite inexpensive as well.

The first one that came to mind is the Plaza. I also think the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs is an excellent value for what you get.

the best values are the wolfgang puck expresses...and they are really sit-downs...even though you order up front.

beyond that...other than the mentioned plaza...disney all but eliminated the "low priced" sit-downs in the last ten years....but there used to be some great ones...including

Kona, GF Cafe, The concourse steakhouse (which was an excellent meal/deal), boatwrights, olivia's (was just the best till they had to yutz with it), whispering canyon, and a few others...

i long for those days where i could get a 4.95 conch chowder and a 12.99 cuban sandwich at olivias...and a 5 dollar key lime pie. There was nothing better.

I'm adding Dining plan to our next vaca....

I've crunched the numbers and here are the meals we will do OOP...

Sci Fi at DHS
Le Cellier Lunch at Epcot
Yak & Yeti Lunch at AK

Meals we will keep on DDP: CRT, MM F! Dining., HDDR, Teppan Edo. (That's 6 TS Meals !)

I really enjoy Liberty tree tavern for lunch. I think we spend more when we go to Applebee's at home.

The Plaza in the Magic Kingdom...good food as well.

Look into the resort restaurants. Those are often less expensive and offer some great food options!
