Less expensive steak restaurants

For our 2020 trip we’re looking to add a few extra nights. To help offset the additional lodging costs we’re looking to “scale back” a bit on dining. We’re big steak people and would normally go to Le Cellier or The Yachtsman. Can anyone recommend any on site restaurants with decent steak but not as pricey as some of the well known ones? We will not be on the dining plan.

I had a very tender and delicious steak at Mama Melrose last September.

This is what I was going to say. I have had the beef tenderloin there twice, and it's wonderful! And at only $34 for the entree, it's much more affordable than the signature restaurants or Shula's.

Another vote for the Turf Club. Last fall we had the Prime rib and it was excellent.
