Lesbian nightlife?

I know of a couple of lesbian bars out in Ybor city (about 45 minutes from WDW), but other than Faces I don't know of any in Orlando. From what I hear of faces, it's a bit on the seedy side (much like Hanks, the gay bar right next door).

That being said, a lot of the local bars have a "lesbian night". Since Southern Nights closed I just don't know what nights for what bars

Southern Nights closed? Not that we've ever been there, but we used to pass by on our very early way to work. There were (usually) a few folks just ending their night!

I've never heard too much about a decent place for lesbians to go and have a drink, dance, whatever in the Orlando area.

I dont think Southern Nights closed, just changed names. It's called Revolution, and they are billing Saturday nights as Men and Woman's night!

They have a website, just do a search for Revolution Orlando.

Ahhh.....memories. I met my first wife at a bar called Revolutions, which is way long gone at this point, much like my first wife.

I haven't thought about that place in years. Thanks for that quick trip down memory lane. Now, if I could ever get the "Spit Pit"....er, um, the Sports Page memories to fully come back, that would really be something.

I used to go to Southern Nights all the time on Saturday for "Lesbo a go-go". There was a lesbian from Miami named Frankie who would come up every weekend and we would play pool.

Ah. I see. Well, we no longer ride to work together, because I no longer work for the agency that took me past Southern Nights enroute to work, so haven't kept up with the changes.

Pool. My DP and I were talking about that just the other day, while having (a WONDERFUL) dinner at Orlando Ceviche. She has to be the only lesbian that doesn't play pool! I've not played in years myself, but as you say, good times.

If anyone has a spare womanual around I'd love a copy. I don't need to buy a pick-up truck, do I? They're not allowed to be parked outside of a garage in my community and there certainly isn't any room in the garage for it.

For the record I don't play pool, I'm up past 10 and I don't drive a pickup truck. Well, ok, I do own an suv but that's because we get LOTS of snow!

You are a proper lesbian. I wonder how different it is for the lifers vs the ones who have come out later in life. Thoughts to ponder.

I gave up my truck because it hurt my back climbing up into it.

I usually go to bed at 11pm or 12am and pray that I am asleep by 1:30am.

I love to play pool, which I suck at, and poker, which I am pretty good at.

I don't drink more than 2-3 adult beverages in a night, if that. Usually, I am content to be the designated driver. But, being that I haven't been out to a non-Disney bar in about 7 years or so, I don't even know if I could handle more than a drink in the night anymore.

I have been in a drama free monogamous relationship with Corey for the last 9 years.

We have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I am the cat person, Corey is the dog person.

Do I qualify still as a proper lesbian under the current code? I really should check in more often on these matters.
