I had to juggle around some of my TS meals to add DS17 as a third person to our party (lost Boma :( ). I want to add an Epcot restaurant and Les Chefs de France was open. I got to thinking, though, would it be easy to get to Cape May? My kids will have already gone to Jiko and Narcoosees the previous 2 nights, so they might like somewhere that's a little less formal like a buffet. What do people think? Is Les Chefs good for kids? (My son's ages are 9 and 17)

I loved Chefs when I was younger, always have! I think it is quite a casual atmosphere, it is so loud & busy that they won't feel too formal. I would take the ressie for Chefs over Cape May.:goodvibes

I want to go there too. I was thinking of only going with my DH, but it would just be crazy going back and forth. I think my kids would be fine there, but was worried some people would have the "adults only" mentality with Chefs.

I think there are lots of kids at Chefs. I had a six week old baby last time I was there & we were not the loudest table by far. Go ahead & take your kids--the place is so loud, plus they will probably really enjoy it. I have great memories of that place & now I'm taking my kids!:goodvibes

Thanks for the info :) . I think I'll keep Chefs then since it seems easier to eat in the park. I want to stay at BCV on my next trip, so we'll save Cape May for another year.

That is fantastic news. I never thought to look at the menu until I clicked on it by accident... and I started getting hungry looking at it. I have never had French food, so I won't be compairing it to "the real thing", so even if it is, as one person called it "watered down French", it won't bother me. The kids menu looked pretty good too.

Chefs isn't formal, in decor and atmosphere it is just like a Paris brasserie. It's a fun and busy place and I would choose it over just about any buffet (except possibly Boma which we also enjoy).
